Just a tumblr page for us two equestrian best friends! Hey, my name’s Julie. I’ve been riding for about four years now, and I’m currently training hunter/jumper, although I started out riding dressage. I’d love to do some three day eventing one day, and I’d love to learn to ride bareback and maybe one day completely tackless. I’ve jumped about 2’6, and I’ve shown twice before in the beginner division (I got reserve champion both times). I currently have a job at the barn I ride at, I go out there at 8:00 am every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, although I plan on going out there a bunch more this summer. I’d love to own a barn one day, and give lessons and train horses for people. Yo~ I don’t commonly use my real name on the internet, but I’ll use it here; my name’s Madison. I’m still fairly new to the equestrian world, but I’m no new lover of horses! I just started riding back in July of 2013, but I’ve had so many weeks and months where I couldn’t ride in-between my first lesson and until now, that I’ve truly only been riding 3-4 months. I do try my best to get better! I ride Hunter/Jumper right now, but I dream of doing the lower levels of cross-country one day, and like most all other horse people, learning how to ride bareback/tackles. I would love to be a riding instructor/ horse trainer one day too! :)
