Hello Weatherspoon Museum! Went to Greensboro, North Carolina to check out the Art on Paper show. Thank you @emilystamey for the tour (and for curating such a cool show!) β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦.. 1) Three of my ink paintings on paper hanging next to Amaryllis DeJesus Moleskiβs piece. 2) βThe one time I dreamed it, it came trueβ Amaryllis DeJesus Moleski 3) Ivana Milojevic Beck @ivanambeck 4) Eric Hibitβs @erichibit grid of ink paintings next to May Tveitβs @maytveit sculptural cardboard piece. 5) Eleanor Annand @eleanorannand made from paper and pulp 6) Julia Rooney pieces made from repurposed newspapers. 7) Sherrill Roland βArtforus: November 2013-Summer 2014 Issuesβ 2018. Made from Artforum magazines and correspondence Sherrill received over 10 months while wrongly incarcerated. @sherrillroland 8) I saw these @robyn_oneil pieces at @susaninglettgallery a few years ago and almost broke my eyeballs staring at them, thinking I wouldnβt get another chance to see them again. Hi Robyn Oneil drawings! Good to see you again! 9) Weeping Women by @ellenlesperance reclaiming Picassoβs images (His originals, though virtuosic paintings, I always saw as abusive celebrations of his ability to make his lovers cry) 10) Look at this bench! @wamuncg has some nice furniture. There were a lot of people in the gallery enjoying the art and furniture with me, though I didnβt take pictures of them. β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦. Iβm grateful to be part of this show and to be hanging with all these great artists. Props to everyone I didnβt get to include pics of.
