This was a tedious game to play, I am aware this is mostly VN, but I thought I'd give it a try because of the SRPG element, the SRPG element in Digimon Survive is minimal and far in between, and it's not even that fun.

This was refreshing but also frustrating but that's on me because I simply suck at timing my attacks and avoiding the enemy incoming missiles/atttacks/magics, etc.

Thankfully the game is short at under 25 hours.

This was okay but I had a hard time trying to piece together the story, it feels like it lacked cohesiveness with its terminalogies and many characters at play.

HD LCD, really, Nintendo?

The reveal itself was underwhelming for me personally moreso towards the softwares than hardware, I mean, sure, I am certain there will be many more games (RPGs to be exact) for the S2 over the next few years but yet at the same time I'm happy the Switch 2 is finally announced after all sort of rumors.

Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero will need to share seat with Xenoblade Chronicles X.

I've only heard good things about this and I want to experience it now!

Genso Suikoden Plus is not terrible by any means it's just kinda messy IMHO, I believe the game has more to offer since the ending I was advised that I was supposed to collect certain equipment for certain characters, but at this point I'm not gonna bother anymore, I'll just label it as finish!

I'm having a frustrating time with Dragon Quest III 2D-HD Remake on the Switch, a gamer pal advised me to lower the difficulty and I'll have a ball of a time with it, I'm considering it, while I understand the game is meant to be challenging like it was back in the 90s, but I definitely draw a line between "challenging" & frustrating the fuck out of me.

Why are the map design in Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero so annoying? I feel like I am spending more time jumping around the map to skip or avoid, say, a rock? Or whatever that is in the way, there are so many dumb obstacles in this game.

Feeling this sense of emptiness after finishing Metaphor ReFantazio & Final Fantasy XVI, to be fair, it's not all that dramatic and it's not like I've nothing else to play (I have like 400 other titles on Steam to last me a lifetime), but, you know what I'm saying? Games like these don't come by often.

This game is so good! I love that it doesn't end with just the MC being crowned king and we're done! The game went on to show what happens next after MC has been crowned king and it was so fulfilling!

Well, not exactly my 16th time since I still have the 4th, 12th, and 15th to finish, so technically this is my 13th time, but for the sake of this post, let's go with "my 16th time."

Absolutely floored with the ending and the entirety of this game! The OST, the talented cast of voice actors, the graphics, everything! So happy to finally add this to my list of beaten games cause at the end of the day it's one title down!

On to the next one!

I believe I'm at the last part of the game with only 2 days left to talk to everyone before heading into the magla maelstorm to face Count Louise.

I'm at around 120 hours mark? I want to be done with this along with Final Fantasy XVI on the PS5 so I can pick up other games that needs finishing.

Another favorite of mine: the ROG Ally X, pre-ordered on the 22nd of June 2024 and self-collected at the ASUS store on the 27th of July 2024, it was such an excruciating long wait but absolutely worth it!

Boasting a 80Wh battery which lasted a decent 1 hour, 45 minutes to 2 hours, maybe even slightly more, depending on the game you're playing & its settings, many people I know claimed that that's too short, well... to me, that's more than enough for a good JRPG session in my cozy bed for me. Handheld PCs may not be entirely new and has been around since a long time ago, but having a modern device such as this that can last close to 2 hours in this and age? I never thought I'd live to see the day! I can't wait to see what the future brings as I'm partial towards handheld/gaming on-the-go.
