I could see Max > Mercedes, George > McLaren, Oscar > Red Bull …. I don’t think that McLaren’s environment is for Oscar really, the happy family mimics… you do this and do that you have to listen to what we say, loads of shady stuff in contract, the team having basically full power over the drivers and what’s happening within etc. everyone knows that’s the core of McLaren team (having all their drivers on the leash) and that’s what it always has been, he obviously agrees to most of their stuff because that’s what you have to do to keep your job but I think he would thrive in a more competitive environment, in a team where he can be more aggressive and able to make own decisions and potentially being prioritised.
