It’s so healing to wake up in a silent house and silently make your own coffee or tea and enjoy the beautifully intricate fullness of the morning silence while remaining calm and collected and unbothered by all outer and inner noise and it’s so low-key elevating and pacifying to rejoice in the silent atmosphere of your own house and just silently block the rest of the world…it’s a slice of heaven

time passes too quickly. you lay down in the forest. "just five minutes," you say to the trees. "five minutes to be alone. then i can get up and go on living." you close your eyes. when you open them again the saplings around you have grown massive, and your hair has turned to moss. "you were gone too long," the trees whisper. "they've forgotten all about you."

Something about being able to eat a fruit without worrying about the mess. Climbing out of the ocean and just biting into the biggest peach of your life and letting it drip all over your face and body. You can just get back into the ocean afterward to rinse off. Freeing.
