The short answer is complicated, the longer answer is filled with long sighs and terrible long pauses. It was made on a shoe string budget with not enough time and the old truth “everything that can go wrong will go wrong” personified, but the positives that I did find was a crew of hard working dedicated crafts people who busted their asses day in and day out to try to bring my vision to life and I will always be grateful and indebted to them.

Ex heroin addict here, I say heroin addict because in my head that was the worst one. Being an addicted of MDMA, or LSD, or magic Mushrooms, or Weed or Sex, or Porn, or any of the other vices that have plagued my life isn’t punchy enough I guess, so I’m just an ex heroin addict then. I relapsed, not on the most dreaded of substances in my mind, heroin, but something less harmful a small amount of weed. A week long binge that look relapse became until I was consumed underneath it like a small child staring up into the mouth of an oncoming tsunami. Unable to stop the flood waters from consuming everything that I knew. But yet, here I am, sat upon dry land, twenty four hours have past and I still sit in bleak cold sobriety, a miracle it seems to be that I didn’t fall back into old habits that shield me from this world, a gleaming knight against all those who wish to damage my already fragile and broken psyche. I am sober, I remain sober, I will continue to be sober. This is the mantra I must tell myself or risk becoming the man I dare not look upon when our gazes meet in the mirror.
