Inktober Day 4: Freezing

As of right now, we’ve lost the house. We have rent paid at a motel for the rest of the month. We’ll need to pay more before June 5th to keep our room. DSS currently has my younger siblings as we didn’t have a safe environment for them to live in. They have advised us to give up fighting for the old house back and to start saving up for a place to live when we’re done with all our court things. We came to the agreement that since we won’t be able to get the kids back, it would be the best choice for us to just live in the motel until we have saved enough to move in somewhere. Rent for the room for a month is $1200, electric, water, hear/ac, internet, and TV included. We’ve been paying nearly that month in bills alone prior to moving so this is saving us roughly $700-1200 a month. I will be continuing work as normal as well as trying to pick up a job in the area despite how taxing my mental health is/will be to my performance. I’ve also been advised to look into getting a service dog due to my declining mental health.  Wanna help me out? Promo - About/Rules

I’ve gotten through the worst of what I needed to do. Still got a couple of assignments I need to finish for January but I’m gonna make an effort to come back.

However, until at least half of the threads I’ve got going across all my blogs (see list of blogs here) have come to a close I won’t be accepting new threads.

Heading home over the weekend so I might be quiet til Monday. But I’m gonna write as many replies as I can and stick em in the queue.

So I’ve been slow for a while due to Uni. At this point I’ve handed in my first project and the next one is looming followed by multiple in short succession. So until Christmas break I’ll pretty much be putting my face to the grindstone.
