ive been having such a blast with pillars i actually upped the difficulty to path of the damned bc i just enjoy the combat so much :'). also the story has been really good heres my thots on companions so far (still in act 2 and just started white march part 1):
aloth: i am not immune to troubled, traumatized, elf wizard boyfriend
durance: die for misogyny and evil(er) catholicism also just being a dick. if not having a cleric in the party means my party will get paralyzed by every lizard we come across so be it!!
sagani: i love her!!!!! the interactions between her and Pallegina in particular are so good. interesting discussions about womanhood across their cultures
pallegina: she will never leave my party i love her so much. i love that when she casts sworn enemy she swears them out in fantasy italian. shes so good i would do anything for her
hiravias: unfortunately his voice is a little annoying imo and he needs to turn down the horny jokes a bit but hes nice mostly. idk i havent gotten very far with him (also im playing druid and srry there is only enough room is this party for one druid)
grieving mother: what the fuck is her deal i love her??? it makes me sad that she has like no interactions with anyone else (it makes sense narratively but i wannit) but i find her v fascinating and also cipher is so fun in combat. tara platt voice saying "i mean you no harm :)" before making a guy stab the shit out of his friend mid combat is very good
maneha: i love her sm!!!! my friend :)
zahua: first impression is narratively interesting but so far the depiction feels a bit too noble savage + har har monk drug abuse to me.. maybe this will change..
i believe theres one more from the dlc but i havent met them yet.
