how would adult!saitama and adult!mob work out in your au? will saitama still live in z-city with genos? oh! how would genos interact with mob and ritsu? would he also start to worship mob if he witnessess mob unleash "???"?
well, soon after the hero association is formed, ritsu encourages his brothers to join and become professional heroes. the twins have been taking out monsters in seasoning city since they were kids, so ritsu reasons that they should at least get paid for it. and he also wants his older brothers to get the recognition they deserve. this might be a bit of a stretch but i do love the thought of mob and saitama having a considerable fanbase that adores the sibling duo. their fans call them ‘mob psycho’ and ‘one punch’ respectively, haha.
in opm saitama lives in z-city because of the cheap rent, but in this au he’d be able to afford a more expensive apartment in a nicer city. i do think genos would have a great amount of respect for mob not only because of his power but also due to mob’s humbleness. on the other hand ritsu is very uncomfortable with genos, because genos reminds him of his younger self, how he was obsessive with becoming stronger and took himself way too seriously.
this is unrelated to your ask, but i wanted to let you know that in this au, saitama meets and adopts rover when he’s still in middle school. i couldn’t resist the adorableness of teen saitama, mob and ritsu having a pet dog/monster to cuddle and play with, even if it means having to scramble the timeline a bit.
I don’t know if you’re still doing the opposite elements au (you don’t need to answer this if you aren’t) but what are ty lee and mai in the au?
this au is always in the back of my mind anon, it’s just that i have a mountain of wips that i’m currently more invested in. i do have a few sketches of the water tribe designs of azula, ty lee and mai (who are still a formidable adversary against the gaang here) which i actually really like, so maybe i’ll post a polished version of those designs someday...

thank you! for dynamic poses, i like watching action sequences for inspiration, and then practicing with figure sketches to get a sense of weight and movement. using references is also very helpful in order to portray the images i have in mind.

Y'all I checked Tumblr to figure out what a one punch man was and your twin au was the first post??? What a nice intro to a show??? So then I tried to figure out what a mob psycho 100 was and if I wanted to watch it, and the same! Thing! Happened! I am inordinately pleased!

thank you! when i watched shera i thought catra would get along well with lion, which inspired me to draw them together. it wasn’t until i read the comments on my post that i found out catra actually had a pink lion in the original series, so that was a really fun coincidence for me
some notes on a fe3h atla au (cause i’m not sure if i’ll find the time to draw these but at least i’ll have them organized in a post), this may contain some spoilers for the game:
- f!byleth is the fire nation avatar, jeralt is a mercenary from the fire nation and her mother was an air nomad. byleth was born in one of the air temples, and when it was discovered that she is the avatar, jeralt pleaded with rhea to allow him to take byleth around the world before she had to be burdened with her responsibilities. rhea reluctantly agreed, with the promise that jeralt will bring byleth back to the air temple when she turned 16.
- the previous avatar was sothis, an air nomad (the order of elements is swapped in this au to make this possible. so, the elements the avatar cycles through are air, fire, earth, and then water), all nabateans are air nomads, and rhea is the daughter of sothis. when the fire nation attacks, rhea orders cethleann to escape with byleth. even though byleth wants to stay and help defend the temple, rhea warns her that the avatar cycle will be broken if byleth dies in the avatar state.
- byleth and cethleann become separated in the ensuing chaos, and the avatar state is activated when byleth falls into the ocean, encasing her in ice. a hundred years pass and cethleann’s grandchildren, flayn and seteth (who are actual siblings) find the iceberg byleth is trapped in. flayn informs byleth that she and her brother are the last airbenders and that the fire nation has hunted down the rest of the air nomads.
- the trio travel around the earth kingdom looking for an earthbending teacher for byleth and end up meeting claude, the prince of omashu. the fire nation had successfully invaded omashu years ago, and a fire nation noble was married to the king of omashu. claude grew up hated by both peoples of the fire nation (for being the blood of the enemy) and the earth kingdom (for being the blood of a traitor)
- when claude learns that byleth is the avatar he agrees to teach her, because the sooner the war is ended the sooner he can begin to mend relations between his two homelands. claude respects his parents as strong warriors, he cares about them and grew up craving their approval, but there is definite lack of love in their relationship (not helped by the fact that his parents left him to deal with the mistreatment on his own). part of the reason claude runs away is so that his parents won’t be accused of treason.
- the blue lions are split between the two water tribes, dedue is the son of the leader of the northern water tribe and is friends with ashe, mercedes and annette. while dimitri and his group of friends are in the southern water tribe. with the return of the avatar, the north and the south are motivated to strengthen their relations so that they can work together to defeat the fire nation.
- marianne is a waterbender, and her family is treated with contempt because her grandfather discovered bloodbending and used this ability to commit terrible crimes. her grandfather had avoided capture, and when he meets marianne he forces her to learn bloodbending against her will.
- the characters who have crests in fe3h are benders while characters without crests are nonbenders. petra is proficient in chi blocking and leonie is a member of this au’s equivalent of the kyoshi warriors. sylvain feels guilty that miklan was cast aside by their parents when they found out that sylvain is a waterbender.
- in the fire nation the dragon dance is an important rite of passage for the heir to the throne (and i love the image of edelgard and hubert doing the dragon dance together while majestic dragons fly around them)
