came across this post on facebook.
Occasionally Iâll see a friend post a photo of their kid harassing the dog with the caption âSheâs so patient LOLâ and every time I cringe and wait for the status update âat the emergency room FMLâ to pop up.
Teach your children to respect animalsâ personal space. This shouldnât be up for debate.
Even if you have a completely non-aggressive, docile dog, why take the risk? They look cute and patient, but you never know and youâre basically saying youâre totally cool with something happening to either your dog or child because it looks cute.
No, itâs totally okay to take the risk, because the resulting photos are âartistic!â Sarcastic fuckery aside, this is a REALLY important PSA. I cannot tell you how many times Iâve seen people let their children unintentionally (and intentionally!) push dogs outside their comfort zones because itâs âcuteâ or âthe dog is so patient!â and âIt makes a great family photo.âÂ
None of the above are viable excuses for endangering your children and your dogâs lives.Â
sadly im not sure who the other three photos belong to, but I know Naturepunk is in the last one.
wish these had proper sources.

Iâve seen these photos going around and initially thought there was some impressive post-processing behind them. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Seeing someone this close to a bunch of dangerous wild animals kind of makes me uncomfortable, especially with the bear and the elephant.
I have to wonder what would become of them if something went wrong and one attacked the poor model. Would the animals be put down? Would they live out the rest of their lives in a cage?
They certainly wouldnât be an asset to their trainer anymore - whoâd want to hire âthat bear that mauled that one womanâ or âthe elephant that stampeded that photographerâ?
I believe these photographs are stunning, but were they really worth the risk?Â

Right-wing extremist Robert James Talbot Jr. was arrested for attempting to rob banks and buy explosives in order to fund his plan to restore America.
Being that it is part of my actual job, I tend to read a lot news. A wide variety of it, from many different sources. So, when something important happens, like the girl who played Stephanie Tanner on Full House goes to pick up her dry cleaning, or the FBI arrests someone for terrorism, it is usually something I find out about very quickly. However, I somehow managed to not hear a single word about Robert James Talbot, Jr. being arrested for terrorism last week. Which is  weird because usually, when the FBI arrests someone for terrorism, it ends up all over the damn news.
We hear about it everywhere, from everyoneâ pundits biting their nails and wondering how we will ever feel safe again, people on the street raging against random strangers who happen to share the physical characteristics, religion, or political sentiment of the bastard who wanted to endanger the lives of our American citizens.
Not only that, but we usually end up rearranging our whole lives to account for what said terrorist was trying to do. I mean, we still have to awkwardly take our shoes off at the airport because one dude tried to hide a bomb in his shoe.
But Robert James Talbot, Jr. gets arrested for terrorism and I donât see a thing about it until days later, until this weekend when I happened upon this article from the Southern Poverty Law Center. So weird! In fact, most of the other articles Iâve been able to find are from local Texas news sources. Very few national outlets have even bothered with the story.
Talbot is a white, radical right-wing conservative who was arrested by the FBI on charges of âattempted interference with commerce by robbery, solicitation to commit a crime of violence and possession of an explosive material.â
He set up a Facebook page, âAmerican Insurgent Movementâ in order to recruit five or six like-minded folks for what he called a âa Pre-Constitutionalist Community that offers those who seek True patriotism and are looking for absolute Freedom by doing the Will of God. Who want to restore America Pre- Constitutionally and look forward to stopping the Regime with action by bloodshed.â People, whom he said, must be willing to walk away from their lives to âstop the regime.â His plan was to rob banks to fund his revolution, and then also blow up mosques. He claimed to have already cased several Bank of Americas.
He wasnât shy about his intentions, and even brazenly posted the following messages to the groupâs Facebook page:
âLiberty movement starts this summer for those who are up for anything. Email the admin if your [sic] interested in walking away from your life (we have weapons if you need a weapon) to stop the Regime. We always will be recruiting. âŚYou will be giving your life for a greater nation restoring liberty and the Lord himself. Stopping the New World Order and banking cartels.â
âThat is exactly what I will have my men do during the heist. Same goes with the Muslims. Mosques are to be a blast! With three of my guys with FA [full automatic] AKâs [AK-47 semi-automatic rifles], we will send that white house worthless piece of dirt and his Muslim brotherhood a message they will never forget.â
And on March 15thâŚ
âIn a few weeks me and my team are going active for Operation Liberty. I will not be able to post no more. We will be the revolution, things will happen nationwide or in the states. They will call us many names and spin things around on media. Just remember we fight to stop Marxism, liberalism, Central banking Cartels and the New World Order.â
He was arrested after meeting with three undercover FBI agents who were pretending to be interested in helping him rob an armored car, and providing him with C-4 explosives. He also told the undercover agents that he planned to locate and kill a police officer who arrested him for drunk driving.
Now, call me crazy, but I have a feeling that if Talbot had been, instead, a Muslim man plotting to blow up Christian churches, that this is something that would have made the news cycle, in pretty heavy rotation. Despite the fact that two people with a similar ideology once committed one of the most tragic incidents of terrorism on U.S. soil, it is highly unlikely that other like-minded folksâlike Larry Klayman and friendsâwill be put on the do-not-fly list anytime soon.
Itâs unlikely that there will be any talk about how Fox News, Alex Jones and other right-wing news outlets are inciting potential terrorists by convincing them that they are actually under attack.
You can say that it wasnât news because he was caught before going through with it, but shoe-guy was caught before he went through with it as well, and we certainly heard a lot about that.

What if all women were bigger and stronger than you? And thought they were smarter? What if women were the ones who started wars? What if too many of your friends had been raped by women wielding giant dildos and no K-Y Jelly? What if the state trooper who pulled you over on the New Jersey Turnpike was a woman and carried a gun? What if the ability to menstruate was the prerequisite for most high-paying jobs? What if your attractiveness to women depended on the size of your penis? What if every time women saw you theyâd hoot and make jerking motions with their hands? What if women were always making jokes about how ugly penises are and how bad sperm tastes? What if you had to explain whatâs wrong with your car to big sweaty women with greasy hands who stared at your crotch in a garage where you are surrounded by posters of naked men with hard-ons? What if menâs magazines featured cover photos of 14-year-old boys with socks tucked into the front of their jeans and articles like: âHow to tell if your wife is unfaithfulâ or âWhat your doctor wonât tell you about your prostateâ or âThe truth about impotenceâ? What if the doctor who examined your prostate was a woman and called you âHoneyâ? What if you had to inhale your bossâ stale cigar breath as she insisted that sleeping with her was part of the job? What if you couldnât get away because the company dress code required you wear shoes designed to keep you from running? And what if after all that women still wanted you to love them?
