In Love and Deepspace, I ship you with: Zayne (ironically lol).
Firstly, Zayne absolutely adores you. You both share a lot of common characteristics but are still different enough not to clash or overwhelm each other. Instead, you complement and complete one another.
Zayne would love your blue eyes, always feeling a calm, soothing sensation—like a quiet lake—every time he peers into them. He’d be a sucker for dimples, always doing his best to make you smile just so he can see them. He thinks they’re so adorable, and he feels accomplished when he sees them because they’re a sign that you’re happy—meaning he’s made you happy.
He’d like your height—not too tall and not too short—right in the middle, perfect for him to lean down and kiss you.
He’d value your patience and peaceful nature a lot because he values his as well. It’s a difficult thing to obtain and maintain, so he’d be eternally grateful that you always remain so calm. As for comfort, Zayne (even though he hides it well) can get overwhelmed easily, and he’d cherish you as his escape. He’d always feel so loved and heard whenever you comfort him, which would definitely deepen his feelings for you.
He loves your empathy. He feels like being around you improves his own empathetic abilities, which he often has to showcase at the hospital with his patients. He’d always think of you when treating them—wondering what you would say in a situation like this, what words of comfort you would offer. He feels warmth spreading through his body in these moments, and he always thinks to himself, “Am I… in love?”
Zayne would love to contribute to your peaceful life—reading books with you, buying you new houseplants and gardening together, taking relaxing walks while holding your hand, and even listening to you read or talk about your book lore. He’s also the type to sit or lie next to you, quietly reading his own book, but sparing a glance at you every now and then—smiling as he sees you engrossed in your reading.
He’d also love to play chess with you, claiming it “keeps his brain sharp” (even though he keeps losing, lol). He’d enjoy your calmer hobbies, even participating in them—like learning languages or horseback riding—but as for dancing, he leaves that up to you. However, he LOVES to watch you and tell you how amazing you are and how proud he is of you. He’d commend your skills, always praising your talents—not in an overbearing way, but in a supportive way.
He’d love your vegetarian diet, as well as your attempts to try vegan options and eat healthily, since he knows how important food choices are. He’d always recommend new foods, send you things he saw online, or even research new restaurants to take you to. He loves natural foods (especially sweet ones), so he’d always grab some for you and invite you to read or watch a movie with him.
Zayne thinks it’s funny how you don’t like the cold or snow since his EVOL is ice. He’d always make you a small, pretty, intricate snowflake or snowman—just to show he’s thinking about you (and to tease you a bit sometimes), but he’d never take it to far and subject you to the cold since he knows you don’t favor it, though, he absolutely adores draping his coat over your shoulders when you get cold. He especially loves taking your small hands in his, rubbing them together and sharing his warmth.
He loves the way you love animals, and he’d enjoy taking you to places that involve them—like cat cafés, the zoo, or the aquarium—just to see your face light up and your dimples poke through your cheeks.
Though he remains serious and a little stoic most of the time, it would always crack him up how you don’t know how to swim or ride a bike.
“You can dance, learn languages, play pro chess, play some instruments, AND ride a horse… but you struggle to ride a bike…?”
He’d be dumbfounded, pointing it out from time to time just to laugh at your big blue eyes peering up at him in annoyance.
“How about a bike ride? The weather is nice this time of year.”
All in all, Zayne is head over heels in love. You bring out his youth—something he had to forgo early since he focused so much on academics and his job at the hospital. His heart swells every time he sees you, finding no flaw in you, inside or out. It’s like encountering an angel—there’s nothing he doesn’t love about you.
