Hello. My name is Neha and I’m the admin of DeepikaPDaily. I’ve decided to take down the blog because I have other commitments outside Tumblr & running a fansite comes with a set of responsibilities that I have failed in the past to fulfill. It is not easy being the only admin of a fansite. The HTML work, the headers, the constant updates are not an easy job accomplish on time. In these 2 years, I have spent hours on working on the look of this blog, leave alone the content & posts.
I just don’t have the interest anymore. I made this blog at a time when Tumblr felt dead, with a hope to see things change/feel different when I made this blog. However, with time this place became worse. Tumblr is not fun anymore. Things were way different back in the day. Editing/posting is mostly forced now, I don’t even remember when was the last time I genuinely enjoyed being on Tumblr. Without stressing on why I’ll move on to my next point.
Special thanks to Minella (no longer on tumblr) & Kayla (@deepiku ) for giving a kick start to this blog. Especially Minella, who used to help me so much with updating the blog regularly. Minella if you ever see this, thank you so much darling & I’m very sad that I couldn’t tell you a proper thank you. My love to Divya ( @love-indian-actress) & Kei ( @serizawazs) for blessing this blog with their beautiful edits/gifs. Your contribution to this blog has brought us a lot of love. I also extend my thanks to Lili ( @lyanastarke ), who too has brought in a lot of love to the blog with her work when she was a member (who by the way, owns @queendeepika & does an amazing job at it) I can not thank these people enough for their amazing contribution. I know how time-consuming & pain-in-the-ass photoshopping can be. I wish you all nothing but love.
All of us have put in a lot of work in this blog & to delete it would be unfair to all of our hard work. So I have decided to leave this blog, the way it is. This blog & the follower count means a lot to us.
This is more closure for me than anybody else. This blog & Deepika means a lot to me. I can’t tell if this blog will go back to the way it used to be or when but until then,
