How come every guy says "I'm good at compartmentalizing things" instead of "I'm bad at dealing with uncomfortable emotions"?

Iâm scared for our girls and women
Iâm responsible for helping with the students removed from class for poor behavior. We have probably a 10 to 1 boys to girls ratio on having to be removed. The girls itâs always something like âcanât stop talkingâ or âwonât participateâ or âsleepingâ and the boys is pushing and fighting and arguing with the teacher or writing slurs on the board, and bullying. Sure we have a few girls for bullying. But not nearly as many. The boys in school now have serious problems and their parents are ignoring or excusing it. In the few cases parents actually try to address it, they arenât having much success.
Personally, parental accountability, enforceable consequences, admin support, restricted social media and single sex classrooms would go a long way.
My all female team gets support from some of the male coaches and male admin when the boys act up. That helps in the moment too. Gets the boys behaving for a bit, but the lack of respect for female authority figures and female teachers is ridiculous.
I'm a teacher and I get so frustrated with my male coworkers for coddling and excusing male student behavior. They talk about how the male teachers have such better control over the classroom and don't ever account for the fact that the male students just automatically respect male teachers more. The "behavioral specialist" at our school has talked to me at length about how the girls are worse than the boys and I'm like... you're not even in a classroom. I know that there's been multiple fights this year and the vast majority has been with boys. Has a girl brought a g*n to school? Because boys did twice in the matter of a week. The boys are so disruptive and almost never do work of the same quality as their female classmates. It's so effing annoying I want to throw a desk.

Yesterday one of the school counselors told me repeatedly that I have ânon-binary vibesâ. This is after the first time I spoke to her when she asked me my pronouns and I said âI donât care, it doesnât matter to me what pronouns people usedâ and her response was âreally?? I mean really? there isnât one that one people use you feel all good inside?â (I thought you werenât supposed to force people to reveal their pronouns?). I just want to make it clear that at this point in my life I am not gender non-conforming in my presence almost at all. I wear pants sometimes but I mostly wear skirts, my hair is long. The only thing thatâs gnc about me (I GUESS) is that I am confident and I express my thoughts in a way that people describe as intelligent. That is IT. So, if you were wondering if  school counsellors are actually pushing in kids in one way or another, the answer is yes.Â
I am currently reading âRage Becomes Herâ by Soraya Chemaly, and this particular quotes comes from a chapter exploring the ways in which women are objectified in our culture.Â
âItâs virtually impossible to go through a day without images of girlsâ and womenâs shellacked, shaved, tied-up, emaciated, and often, if you pause to seriously look, mutilated bodies invading your imagination. Our bodies are used to market everything from toys and clothing, to food and games. Women pose as tables for people to eat off of, chairs for people to sit on, and bicycles for people to ride. And thatâs all before the mindlessly sexist and racist fetishising of mainstream pornography, which in its most popular forms frequently eroticises violence.âÂ
The question is, if women are so often portrayed as mere objects, how much room is left to portray our humanity? If minimal social space is given to exploring the notion that women may be intelligent, thinking, and feeling beings, how are we supposed to overcome a culture of objectification?
We are paraded as objects. We have inherited the belief we are objects. We are acting accordingly. It is a seemingly inescapable cage, and it is often to appease yourself within it rather than fight to get out. Â

when i say transgenderism is inextricably linked to capitalism because its fundamentally transhumanist this is what i mean
Itâs literally not and your comment rests on needing fucking conspiracy theories.
you believe a person can change their sex so you really donât have any room to call those who observe reality conspiracy theorists.
I would also like to add that conspiracies do exist. The trend towards handwaving every single "conspiracy theory" only serves the government and moneyed interests.
Just take a look at the evidence Jennifer Bilek provides on her blog.

Regardless, that's not even what OP said, so (as usual) lostelvenqueen has lost the plot and is arguing against an point that was never made.
I was recently talking to a male coworker who was explaining to me that heâs not into white girls because theyâre âentitledâ but that I seem different, I seem laid back. In my head the âcool girlâ monologue from Gone Girl went through my head. He was saying âYouâre a cool girl, I can tell. Donât do anything to change my mindâ. I hate it so much when men try to use misogyny to charm you. Itâs disgusting.Â
