Kids can be gay just as much as they can be straight. Y'all just make everything innocent sexual because that's all you can think about. It's fucking weird.

No one bats an eye at straight romance in kids shows but the second it's queer everybody's panties are in a twist. Kids have crushes all the same regardless of gender!!!!

Yeah they do. Just like how they also want to copy their straight parents, or a couple they see kissing on the ride home. So I don't see your point. Kids try shit without thinking. We know this. But their sexuality is already set once they pop out the womb my guy.

If a kid is straight, they aren't gonna magically become gay because of a show or because their friend has a crush on them.... Just like how you, a straight person, would never like someone romantically and/ or sexually of the same gender because that's not your thing. It's the same with queer people, just the opposite. You're just hardwired like that from the get go. Y'all are just seeing people "turn gay" because they were actively told that wasn't an option before. Are we okay?

Like learnt racism and discrimination. Kids aren't like that until they're taught it at home. The same can't be said about being queer. (I am that example btw)

Cishet people who never had to hide their entire personality, feelings, conflicts and love life from the people who should love you shouldn't even get to have a say in this. Because guess what, when you drill into your child's head that being gay is disgusting, you're just gonna end up with an empty relationship filled with lies if you didn't end up with a cishet kid. These lies they tell you before they come out is why you think "they just turned gay".

And people wonder why queer suicide rates are so high. It's not because we're just naturally more depressed because of our "lifestyle". It's because you act like all of us are perverted predators like we weren't those same kids you're apparently "trying to protect", praying every night to just be "normal" so their families wouldn't hate them.

People saying "being gay is a choice" urk me so bad because why the hell would I willingly choose eternal societal suffering, confusing, hatred from myself w/ a side of familial backhandedary and pain???? "Fetishizing" has lost all meaning. But if it's to the point where you're in public and can't be around gay people without making weird/ sexual comments, or putting them up on a pedestal just because of their sexuality, you might have to re-evaluate some things.

Example, like a man going up to lesbians and asking if he can "join" or harasses them because he watches too much lesbian porn and doesn't think lesbian love is real. It's the same with some women towards gay men and you can see that in a lot of REAL mlm comment sections where they shamelessly sexualise them. Talking about yaoi this and bl that, asking who's the "top" and "bottom", as if their life is simply a smut genre.

People don't wanna talk about that because they don't wanna seem sexist but it's true and there's nuance to this. This isn't a "Gay people innocent. Woman bad scum of the earth we should take away their rights" because I know at least one person thinks it is. This is just something I picked up on.

It's a form of misogyny where some of you think that women can't be predators and creeps too. So when it comes to some of them being weird to queer people (in this case, specifically gay men), you just turn the other way because it's a marginalized group vs marginalized group. Which therefore encourages the shitty behaviour they've been trying to stop against themselves from disgusting men. Objectification.

They are mirroring their oppressors by pushing it onto the group closest to them, queer people.

What part of that do people not understand? Just because you had "good intentions" doesn't suddenly make what you said okay. It's like they're scared someone is gonna catch them appreciating art of a ship they hate🫩

You're insulting a ship that the artist likes, on THEIR page mind you, and putting a tiny bandaid on it because you want to give your shitty opinion in a way that people can't hold you accountable for. It's confusing and stupid and such a bully move.

At the end of the day, maybe I just don't understand some compliments. But all this looks like to me is someone broadcasting an opinion NOONE asked for into a room of people geeking out when they can easily walk out if they have nothing good to say.

Also. I'm not saying you're not allowed to dislike a ship. Realise how you don't know which ships I dislike? Because I don't make hating something my entire personality and just enjoy my eye candy.
