This may be a difficult thing to see right now; this may be an impossible thing to envision, but it’s something you need to internalize. Don’t give up on yourself, okay? 

Being tired is a normal thing your body does for a whole plethora of reasons, and is a basic bodily function. You don’t need to “earn” basic bodily functions, no matter what anyone else tells you.

It was the kind of day where, once upon a time, a glass of scotch would have been useful, and would have been deserved. But I can’t do that any more. In truth, I only ever did that for about 6 months, but I can’t ever do that again. The last couple of days I’ve been thinking about getting the entirety of my colon taken out. I have Ulcerative (Pan)Colitis, a disease that has made life really difficult, has made me feel elderly when I was young and has robbed me of really basic experiences that many take for granted. Seeing as I had already MDD, severe anxiety and agoraphobia to deal with, it felt slightly unnecessary, y’know? Anyway. Things for me to consider. Shoutout to the fellow Spoonies that have had to navigate life in a different way.
