I really should post about Robin more often because she is one of my top three characters. Idk if I don’t because of discourse reasons or what but she does bring me a lot of joy and I should show her love more often.

Season 5 Jonathan is so odd to watch, because he’ll have a moment and I’ll be like “wow, this is the most the writers have respected him in seasons!” And then five seconds later there’s Bad Writing and my reaction changes to “nope, nevermind I guess!” This process repeats several times over before miraculously ending on the former. Somehow. Mostly. Thanks, show!

The thing about Nancy’s arc is that while there’s certainly plenty to criticize, I’ve noticed some sects of the fandom going a little . . . overboard with it. It’s one thing to believe that the show should have spotlighted her vulnerability more instead of just making her a girlboss. But there have been a truly shocking amount of people acting as though she never means what she says, and that her actions are always to blame on other people. There’s no nuance to be found, and that really bothers me.

Nancy having to wear heels for 78% of Season 4 was DIABOLICAL. Let her feet rest!

I don’t go here, so please correct me if I’m wrong, but I find it pretty ironic that Euphoria started off as a show about a group of primarily teenage girls navigating their emotions and traumas in relation to the patriarchy . . . And seemingly just ended with two guys in their fifties having it out in a revenge-fueled strip club fight.
