light brown hues widened in surprise at the casual way the thug was thrown. the power shown just now was one he has only seen from someone in a clan, and the way this man holds himself ( including the uniform ) led tatara to believe that he was being saved by a king. the blue king. confirming his earlier thoughts when the man first appeared. he wondered if the man knew who he was saving. tatara doesn’t really make himself known as apart of the red clan, as he is never apart of the big battles really. not that he thought munakata reisi would just leave someone getting attacked.still, even he would admit that he never would have expected to be saved from his attackers by the blue king himself. maybe it would have been reasonable to see someone from the blue clan, considering the area of town they are in. but the blue king? never in his wildest dreams.
even so, he was glad someone had happened upon them. these men did not seem the least bit worried about tatara’s own health. and from the way they had been talking, it was almost like the vassal wasn’t going to make it out of this one alive. they thugs who are after homra were starting to get more violent. he could only guess what mikoto would say in regards to this attack. considering what happened to the last group who hurt tatara.
his gaze moved from the thrown thug and onto the man in blue in front of him, eyes searching munakata’s face before landing on the offered hand. a small breath left his lips, ignoring the pain his body was in from the hits he already received, and he placed his hand in the outstretched one. “ i’m better than i would be if you hadn’t shown up.” he admitted softly, grateful for the help up as his legs were a bit shaky from all the running. he
Munakata withdrew his hand, though he was ready to catch the man if he were to fall. Slowly, he took a step forward, waiting each time for Tatara to follow in stride. A supportive arm was behind the blond at all times as he quickly caught the shakiness of his legs, his other hovering slighting by the man’s front. How long had he been in a state before the Blue King’s arrival?
The corner of the king’s lips turned down into a frown as he saw bruises forming on what would have been flawless skin. The man didn’t look like he fought much or at all, as a matter of fact. So why would those men gang up on him? He seemed friendly enough, not the type to egg people on past their aggressive points.
“ I hope you don’t mind if I accompany you back to your home. I don’t want to leave knowing those brutes are close behind. “
