Quite recently, a second species of spinosaur was officially confirmed - Spinosaurus mirabilis Because of its elongated crest and magical sounding name I felt like depicting it in the style of 16th century paintings that portrayed young maidens with a unicorn
saw @ farevalee9s art of Gale Waterdeep with a gun on Instagram and just had to recreate it with Caleb

I got to narrate a Tabaxi throwing up.

This is what a nicfit looks like
the mighty nein battle plan is actually so good to be honest. they get shit on for being unable to follow plans but it's only short term plans they're bad at. battle plans? oh they have lived and learned. the clerics got attacked when they were wandering off alone in a jungle so they make it a point to always split the clerics. even while travelling, jester-eagle isn't allowed to carry caduceus. never put beau and yasha on the same target unless there's only one enemy to make full use of their sentinel and reactions. split caleb and fjord apart so one is within reach to make a counterspell. have beau go first so veth can have sneak attack. the two wizards casting haste on allies and the clerics casting bless to give support. fjord and veth moving in to tank on the frontlines when it gets rough. the fact that fjord learned cure wounds despite his limited spell list even though he already has healing hands as a paladin. that makes the nein having 4 (the clerics, yasha, fjord) members who can restore health. 3 people (clerics and caleb) who can revive the dead. when beau went unconscious against the specter in rumblecusp, fjord and yasha were able to heal her and bring her back up even before it became the two clerics' turns. they said fuck you we're not losing anyone ever again.
Short-term plans and Life Plans are the Neinâs greatest adversaries. Give them a long-term goal, and they make miracles. Ask them for their five year plan or five hour plan? Kill Bill Sirens in their minds.

So there was a post circulating a while ago that claimed the college graduation rate for ADHD students was 5%. I'm writing a research paper on that topic and found that while there is an actual study with those results, it's from one college in Montreal in 1993. You'll see 2017 in the citations online, but they're quoting a book by the same researcher that's quoting that 31 year-old study.
Anyway. Just here to tell my fellow ADHD students that, no, your chances of graduating are not that bleak. The statistics vary wildly from year to year and from college to college (one even reported their ADHD graduation rate to be the same as their neurotypical students). That 5% that everyone repeats is an echo chamber from a hugely outdated source.
Donât forget, college age people in 1993 (raises hand) werenât reliably screened for neurodivergence, and getting medicated was more sporadic than today. I would bet those numbers are much better today, given that ADHD is more a known thing than it was in the 80s and 90s, detection and treatment being more commonplace.
When I was younger I thought the black market was a physical place in the middle of a desert canyon somewhere, and the reason it was called that was because all the stalls used black fabric. I thought that human bones and brains in jars were sold there. I thought you could buy smuggled artifacts and stolen artwork from painters long dead. I thought that you could buy elephant ivory and endangered bird eggs. I thought that you could buy rhinoceros meat and wild chinchilla coats. I thought you could buy pirated copies of movies and hard drives full of government secrets. I kind of wanted to go, but I knew it was a terrible thing to ask. I wouldnât have bought anything, I would have just liked to look.
Holy shit, me too! I always wondered why the cops couldnât just raid it.

Embroidery 101
Introduction:
Embroidery is a craft that uses thread to decorate fabric (and other materials). Itâs a great way to spruce up a garment, customise objects, and to hide mends youâve made!
Embroidery is usually done with embroidery floss, but depending on the base material youâre working on, you could also use yarn, ribbons, or plain old sewing thread. Donât be afraid to experiment!
Embroidery is easier to do on taut fabric than limp fabric. Thatâs why most people use embroidery hoops. While not strictly necessary, a hoop will make your life so much easier.
Using the right needle will help, too. Use a crewel needle if youâre working with embroidery floss, a chenille needle if youâre working with ribbon or yarn, or a tapestry needle if youâre doing cross-stitch embroidery on open-weave fabrics.
While there are many types of embroidery from all over the world, this post will focus on some basic stitches you can use in your own work.
Basic embroidery stitches:
For a more thorough overview of embroidery stitches, check out these embroidery tutorials by Mary Corbetâs Needle ân Thread.
The following images show some of the most basic stitches:
The 16 stitches in the images above can be combined into any shape or form you want. You might recognise some from my hand sewing post: embroidery is a type of hand sewing, after all.
You donât need to know all of these to be able to make beautiful things. Even just one of these is a great start for a project.
This sampler by Sew Nancy shows how these basic stitches can be used to outline shapes or form flowers, for example.

Fiorelila used a combination of the stem stitch, satin stitch, lazy daisy, and french knots to spruce up this sweater:

And this person used lazy daisies to add some flair to their jeans:

Embroidery for visible mending:
Embroidery is a useful tool to hide mends youâve made, or to even accentuate them if thatâs your style. This is called visible mending. While this is a topic that deserves a post on its own, here are some quick examples:
Like this fix by Redditor Takemythyme who embroidered a rose over a hole in a knit fabric:

Or like how this person has spruced up their jeans repairs with embroidery:

In this example, The Woolery Guy chose to use flower embroidery to make a hole in a knit fabric look like it was there by design:

For more examples, check out Pinterest or VisibleMending.com.
Conclusion:
Embroidery is a useful skill to give new life to your wardrobe. You can use it to give some flair to items youâve grown bored off, or even to mend your clothes.
Once youâve got a few basic stitches under your belt, the possibilities are endless. Be creative and have fun with it!
Good luck and feel free to show me your work!

A pair of Tyrannosaurs, the great predators of the Cretaceous period (73â66 million years ago) of North America. This is a very different approach, tenderness in such a fearsome predator. Note that the male's mouth is blue, which means he is ready to mate. I was inspired by modern theropods, such as cormorants (seabirds), using muted colors for better camouflage in dense forests, but with blue details for sexual display.
Iâm sure he thinks his new look is cool as hell but it had to have been a little jarring to look in the mirror for the first time after that
[Image: A four-image set of a comic about Ashton Greymoore of Critical Role. Text reading, âWe had a jobâ followed by a panel of Ashtonâs eyes, both purple, shining and unclouded. Next is a panel of Ashton before their accident, arms crossed. Text reads, âWe didnât know who she was. It hardly mattered. It was just grab something. Get out. Simple stuff. I was on lookout.â A panel of a stylized white outline of Ashton, struck by a red beam. Text around it reads, âDidnât go well. Really really really didnât go well. I got hit with some magic force bolt. Right in the back.â A panel of three stylized white figures running away. Text reads, âEveryone had to skip town.â A panel of a limp, green hand on the ground, red beneath. Text reads, âI got hurt.â Text reading, âDo you resent them all for leaving you?â A panel of present-day Ashton speaking, framed from upper chest to just below the eyes. Speech bubble reads, âAbsolutely fucking not. I wouldâve done the same.â A panel focused on Ashtonâs head injury. A text box reads âThey very smartly took off and I very happily took the debt.â A second text box obscuring Ashtonâs eye reads, âItâs what you do for family.â A panel focused on Miloâs eyes, furrowed in concentration, sweat at the temple. Text reads, âMilo had done their best putting me back together.â A panel of Miloâs lower face with more sweat. Text reads âBasically with some sort of weird chaos fairy magic bullshit? Who knows. Whatever it did, it worked. And Iâm basically fine.â A panel of tools, iridescent flames, and broken pieces of Ashtonâs body, lined in gold. Text reads, âIt worked out alright. Shit happens. Worse things have happened.â A panel of Fearne with wide shining eyes, speaking. Speech bubble reads, âI think⌠I think youâre sort of⌠Beautiful.â A panel of Ashton sitting on a chair with a relaxed posture, looking thoughtful as they raise a tankard to their mouth. Speech bubble reads, âHeh.â A panel of Ashton looking in the mirror, heavily bandaged, back to the viewer. The panel is connected to a second panel by a jagged, broken line. The second panel focuses on Ashtonâs eyes as they are now, with gold scars across their face and one eye white and clouded. Text beneath reads, âMe too.â]
