Sophie has the most plot armour I think i have ever seen on a character in any film and media what so ever. The only reason people think that she is powerful is because she is the main character. If you rewrite the books but removing her as the main character I guarantee that she will have no defenders.

For starters if you relate to her I do not want to be your friend. Second the thing I hate most about Sophie is how the fandom and the characters in the book treat her. It is nothing to that she is complex it is because you guys call her a diva or a goddess and I am like no. No. No. She is whiny teenage girl who’s ego is far to big for head, who has been told her whole life that she is amazing because she is arrogant and self centred and blond. She is not evils greatest hope she is not the new face of evil she is just annoying. She has no talent other than making her ego grow and surrounding herself with people who share her delusions.

She is not powerful and I know I have already said this but it is true. The only times she appears remotely powerful is when she is being helped by the teacher and the school master. Even then Hester could have totally have taken her the only reason she doesn’t is because Agatha doesn’t let her and because she is a little busy trying to save the school and the old heroes.

If you put Sophie and Hester or even Anadil or even Dot or Raven in a one v one Sophie wouldn’t stand a chance.

Sophie only appears powerfully because she is the main character. That is a fact.

She is a big fish from a small pond that when put in a big pond is still delusional enough to believe she yer she is still a big fish.

That Hester and Anadil are a lot older then everyone else

the school takes between 15-12 years olds each year and we get the idea that most people especially Sophie Agatha and Tedros are around 12/13 so I like the idea that Hester and Anadil are 15/16 at the beginning of the books. Can’t decide how old for should be but I personally think she is the same age as Sophie and Agatha anyway

And that Hester and Anadil just make dirty jokes - Hester is the one who mainly does it and Anadil just understands them but it is sometimes the other way round - throughout the whole time to each other that goes over everyone else’s head

Until like after Tedros and Agatha get married and Agatha starts to understand them which she is surprised at because she didn’t expect the two people who were so against relationship to be making those kinda jokes to what she thinks is out of nowhere. Only to then be informed that they have been doing it for years.

Hester ‘left orphan and homeless by Hansel and Gretal, not welcome anywhere in the woods forced to become a petty thief just to survive in the woods alone, because a kinda evil Robin Hood/ Peter Pan by going around the woods and adopting all the other helpless never children building a hidden community full of people just like her teaching they how to fight and steal just to survive all before she goes to school ’ of ravenswood X Anadil ‘spoiled princess who had everything handed to her and os destined to take over from her parents, but is so bored and is desperate to actually do something to help her people’ of Bloodbrook

Anadil is actually hot.

Anadil is better looking than Sophie by miles

That everyone in school for evil knew this fact and only hort actually liked Sophie

The whole of evil had a crush on Anadil like everyone. The only reason they talked to Sophie was to get to her hot roommates ( yes mates because Hester and Dot were also severely sort after).

There was a hierarchy in evil in who people actually liked and it went:

Anadil (practically everyone)

Hester (most people but they were absolutely terrified of her)

Dot ( quite a few)

Everyone else ( each had one or two)

Sophie ( only Hort liked her)

The thing is that I think Anadil knew this and actually liked the way she looked she liked wearing nice outfits and she hated the never uniform. However, unlike Sophie she accepted it and just put up with it.

That being said I like the idea that Anadil slowly started taking her uniform in so slowly that no one noticed she was doing it and just gradually made it something she would actually wear. But you know who did notice, Hester. She noticed.

I hate Sophie.

She is the worse character in the book she isn’t Iconic she is just annoying and a horrible person.

It is not even like she is evil she is just not good and so self centred

“Oh but she had character development and became a better person throughout the series” no she didn’t. She is still a self centred and big headed character. She acts like she was the hero of her book when she did nothing I mean nothing Agatha carried her. She is only still alive because for some reason Agatha actually likes her.

“Oh but she just wants to find true love and not be alone like her mother” But it okay for Agatha to be alone if she is all that which she ain’t then she should have no problem finding someone else to want her.

She isn’t even a good which Hester beats her in every aspect the only thing she has over Hester is that she got a fairytale and quite frankly that is the biggest outrage of the book.

The whole thing about the Cheshire Cat is that he is just basically negligent. Like in the whole of Alice in wonderland I always got the feeling that he so knew what was going on and totally could have done something about but instead just choose to watch only helping when absolutely necessary. He was enjoying the chaos and had no intention of actually being useful at all.

Same is kinda true for the White queen like she so could have dealt with half the issues by herself but she instead saw an opportunity to manipulate someone and she took it.

This is how i imagine Anadil. She does not care as long her, Hester and Dot aren’t in danger then she couldn’t care less. I get the impression that she isn’t really actually friends with the others like she kinda like Agatha but that is it.

The only times she actually interferes is if Hester asks her too and even then it is just the rats and it is the bare minimum.

This becomes even more prominent because I headcanon that she also inherited her parents and aunts special talents because they found true love and became sister love each other that makes her powerful or something like that.

I was trying to work out what their talents would have been and kinda came to this conclusion:

White Queen: she is all powerful when ever she sings - reason being I see her as just a more successful version of Sophie (which is why Anadil hates Sophie because to her she is just a ‘discount version’ of her mother) her whole thing is making people believe she is good so that they trust her completely but then only to find out that her and her sister were in on it together the whole time. So the concept of singing is a very ever thing and kinda goes with that idea.

Red Queen/ Queen of heats (technically different people in the original Alice in wonderland but I don’t care) : human ventriloquism. She can literally control people as if they were puppets, only one person at a time unless you make her a promise then she can control more then one person, until you fufill the promise- reason IDK vibes

Cheshire Cat: evaporating - reasons self explanatory.

I like the idea that Anadil inherited all of them but just doesn’t use them. Partly because she doesn’t want people knowing who she is but also because she just enjoys the chaos that is going on.

I also really like the idea in ever after high that people from wonderland can hear narrators that just tell them everything that is going on at any given time.

The fact that Anadil also had this is what makes the whole thing so perfect like she knew everything from the beginning. She knew what Evelyn sader was up to, she knew that Chadwick was Tedros brother from day one she knew what the snake and lion were up to. She could have stopped everything that happened in the book but where’s the fun in that. Instead she just used them to make sure that neither Hester, her or Dot were in danger then did nothing else.

She could have gotten out of the jail cell in book 5 but the narrator had already told her that Agatha was on her way and would get them out so she did nothing.

It is so funny to me cause I feel like both Hester and Dot knew about this which is why none of them were ever actually scared or actually in danger at all throughout the book.

I do still think that despite Anadil’s 4 special talents Hester could still win in a fight against Anadil. Anadil was just not a henchman and was decently better that Ravan and Sophie.

The reason I still think that Hester would win is because I don’t think her talent is that she just has a demon that comes to life. I think she has a gardian demon and her tattoo is just one part of that. The other part is that she is immune to all spells potions and talents, which actually makes sense given the fact that the only time she actually gets hurt is via a dagger and is never actually effected by anything else. Second I like the idea that when she touches you you can’t use your talents. Mainly just because I like the idea of Anadil trying to vanish and Hester grabbing her and stopping her like if I have to stay then so do you.

And I have realised that there is a clear chain of order when it comes to who comes up with the plans.

Obviously Agatha is at the top and is the one everyone turns to but when Agatha isn’t there or sometimes when she is unsure it is Hester who is the next person everybody turns.

Not Sophie or Tedros despite the fact that both seem to believe that they are the next in line. None in the book ever actually turns to them for help and if they do it is only because neither Hester nor Agatha is here and after book 4 Nicola isn’t there either.

Which I find so funny cause they are the two that believe themselves to be the leaders of the group that they believe that they are good and evils school captain. But in reality it is Agatha and Hester who actually earn that title.

That is because both Hester and Agatha actually worked for it. They were top of there class because they put in the hard work. Neither Sophie nor Tedros did that they just had it handed to them on a silver platter just because both are objectively beautiful and got Agatha to do all the hard work.

If it weren’t for Agatha basically doing all of Sophie’s work and the school master and Evelyn Sader rigging the results Sophie would be a nothing. She was neither talented, smart nor dedicated at anything. She did not deserve to be dean of evil nor is she evil’s greatest hope.

You know who is tho. Hester. Hester is the smartest never in the school for evil and sometimes even in both schools. She has a talent that she had practically perfected even before she came to school (which based on how the other never talents are described in the beginning wouldn’t have of been easier) she is really smart like actually smart. She is described as having a read extra just for fun and having an amazing memory. She is the most dedicated person at that school. Her whole backstory with her mother shows that she is there to prove that she is better than her mother that she will succeed. Plus her whole backstory in general and baring in mind that that is only what she said voluntarily and based on Hester being a closed offf person i imagine there is a lot more that she doesn’t say. But she over came her backstory she is the only person in that book who is able to put there feelings aside and go what is nessary no one else does that or at least not as effectively. Sophie constantly thinking about her self and endangers everyone. Tedros fainted when he sees Merlin and disappears for a week when he sees his mother and lancerlot. Dot’s relationship with her father and Robin Hood cause some issues along the way. Even Agatha struggles to not think about Sophie, Tedros and her mum and do what is right. ( the last three are valid and are not hate considering that they are just teenagers) but it goes to show how strong Hester actually is, not just physically but mentally. Hester also gets stabbed and just doesn’t cry like she is the strongest and smart character in the book. She is also often referred to as the most powerful character with her demon being there best weapon throughout the series.

Hester deserves that spot as evils captain and the only reason Sophie got it was because of plot armour both from the tale of Sophie and Agatha and the fact that she is the main character in the book.

If it weren’t for everything that happened in the woods Sophie wouldn’t have stood a chance next to Hester and it infuriated me that people claim she is the strongest or best witch cause she ain’t she is just the best at acting like she is and that is it.

(This did just kinda turn into a Sophie hate rant and Hester appreciation post but my point still stands)

( this is completely in my head and has no basis in what is actually mentioned in the book )

So I have a theory that everyone from wonderland is banned from the woods and the school. ( which would kinda explain why the white rabbit was hiding with the other hero’s in book 3 )

The reason I believe this is because the white queen and the queen of hearts went to the school for evil long before and the white queen played the same game as Sophie and believed she was actually good. But the difference is that she succeeded in switching schools and not only that but she knew she was evil all along.

My theory is that when you are talking to someone from wonderland and are in wonderland the minute you start to understand it like you do anything else then you belong to wonderland and will always return home. Also that those from wonderland can make everything around them follow wonderland rules.

The reason wonderland was banned is because the white queen and red queen used that to their advantage. The white queen got into the the school for goods and both of them acted like they were fighting each other ( a war between good and evil ) neither cared about winning they just wanted to trap never and ever into becoming part of wonderland. Those who fought for the white queen later went on the become the mad hatter, the white rabbit and march hair. Most of them turned into animal because the school stop making sense once wonderland started to and therefore they failed all their classes. The same was true of the red queen with all the never who took her side also becoming part of wonderland and her court.

The only exception to this was the Cheshire Cat who was a never but took the white queens side because she saw through her plan. I headcanon him to be the son of the white which and Anadils father. Except before he could be turned into a cat he escaped leaving him part cat.

Because of all of this those from wonderland were banned from causing chaos and were feared.

My headcanon is that Anadil was the daughter of the white queen ( which would explain her appearance) and the Cheshire Cat. She was also heavily raised by her aunt the red queen and also make her a princess. This is think kinda explain how I view her character and why she tends to be the quietest of the coven, as she is trying to stop people finding out who her parents are so she doesn’t get kicked out because she isn’t supposed to be there. It would also explain why her powers is making rats grow and shrink.

I like the headcanon for many reasons:

1. Because I like to think her dad gave her the rats as food (cause obviously be is a cat) but she instead decided to keep them as pets and then got annoyed when ever her dad ate a rat and forced him to give them up. Which he did.

2. I like the fact that she also inherited the invisibility powers of her father but just doesn’t use them to avoid getting caught. She only reveals to everyone who she is and the fact that she has this power after all the books happen and then everyone proceeds to get annoyed cause those would have of been really helpful multiple times over the last 4 years.

3. Anadil much like her parents actually loves chaos and was enjoying everything that happened and definitely had a role in everything and only helped when Hester decided to help but would do no more or no less then what Hester told her to.

4. Hester was fully aware of what would happen if she started to understand Anadil and did it willingly. She willingly made wonderland make sense knowing that she would then be stuck with Anadil for life but did not care.

5. Lady lesso was at school at the same time as Anadils parents and the minute Anadil said who her grandmother was she knew she was from wonderland. But because she was one of her best Never she said nothing and pretended she didn’t know and told her self she had to be wrong.

6. I also think that the school for girls and boys was kinda Anadil’s doing and not just because of Sophie and Agatha. I feel like she knew from her mother and aunt that she had the ability to really effect the school and she was trying to impress Hester so when Tedros got mad at Agatha she managed to make the schools change, she was only supposed to do it for a week but then Evelyn arrived and things got out of hand and she couldn’t undo it and then promptly regretted all her choices.

( I don’t know how much of this actually makes sense as I am kinda ill. So maybe this only makes sense in my head )

Cause you have regulus thinking marriage will save him from his parents and Sirius wanting to run away no matter the costs. Sirius recruiting James to help get regulus out of the parents house.

Also have James, Barty and Marlene as performers and all 3 of them being childhood friends in caraval.

You have annoyance to lovers and have regulus literally pick between James and Sirius.

If you want to go into book two you can have bitchkiller ( or if you really want swap Remus and Barty but I think Barty works better for the character and it is something different)
