A scenario I dreamed about Zhongli

I wanted to participate in inktober, but it's me trying to make manga esque scenes

Might make some edits later

I was reading lady & maid and thought... Spoiling Zhongli..... 😍

And yes, I can't spell

          The first time Jumin saw MC scared was on their first ‘ almost commoner date’ as MC put it

Taking a lovely stroll through a flower park in the height of summer

Trying to ignore all the security guards stationed through the area Jumin had rented

The newly established couple could enjoy the lovely view without others around

Other than that perfectly normal

Hand in hand they walked to an ice-cream parlour located just outside the rented area

Though Jumin insisted he’d pay MC just smiled at him

“If you invite me to dinner when our time in the park is up”

She gave him that cheeky smile, that made his heart flutter

Knowing full well he had already made reservations

She ordered and paid for the both of them and they retired to sit at a gazebo surrounded by hydrangeas and roses in a harmony of colours

Jumin chuckled when he noticed MC had gotten Ice-cream on her nose

She looked up with an inquisitive smile

He reached over to her to wipe it off when she suddenly dropped her icecream on the table

And before he could blink she had darted a couple of meters away

Jumin wondering if he suddenly repulsed her, when he noticed the tears in her eyes

She was trembling slightly looking around

Two security guards rushed over to see what suddenly made her jump out of her seat

As they spotted no threat they looked to Jumin who simply dismissed them

Jumin looked around and his eyes landed on her dropped Ice cream

Wasps now buzzing around it

He slowly approached her trembling form

“My love was it the Wasps that frightened you?”

She nodded meekly

At this Jumin simply grabbed her hand and gently led her towards the parked limo

Inside he continued to held her hand drawing circles on her hands to calm her down

Patiently waiting and observing this new side of MC

Looking fragile for the first time was endearing to Jumin and he made sure to carve this sight into his memories

“I didn’t even get to finish my ice cream” she snorted, looking a bit frazzled but already regaining some of her infectious humour

He smiled slightly pulling out his own custom ordered silk handkerchief

“Well we could go on with the date itinerary; I.E. go to the outdoor dinner reservations. Though I can’t promise we won’t encounter anymore black and yellow miscreants or…”

He wiped the last of her tears with his handkerchief

“We could do more ‘commoner’ things, and make food at home together”

One last sniff and she smiled brightly, warming his worried heart

“Yeah let’s go home”

While Jumin had long since enjoyed giving his fiancé endearing nicknames only for her, he had found her use of nicknames particularly familiar yet unsystematic. 

At the begging of their acquaintanceship, she would frequently use ‘love’ or ‘hun’, or the like, at the end of her sentence or address most of the RFA. The terms used both genuinely and sarcastically, as seemingly just a part of her way of speaking. However, as she grew closer to the RFA, all would receive endearing and personal nicknames, which suited her humorous and a bit childish side. Jumin had yet to receive a personalized nickname no matter how far their courtship had progressed. While he knew she only used honey-bunny and darling with him, he was growing a quite a bit jealous while hearing her tipsy and sweet voice call the rest of the RFA with endearing nicknames at the after party in their apartment.

“Yo-Yo how did the event last weekend go? I remember you mentioning wanting the top prize no matter the cost”

Jumin took a slow sip of his wine.

“Zenny I Listened to the cast recording of your latest musical, it was marvellous! How did you like YA-YA? I know you pre-ordered for bonus (…)”

Her voice though sweet, was incoherent as he stared at the bottom of his glass trying to drown his feelings of possessiveness that were trying to creep their way out.

After the others had left, Jumin was going through the motions of preparing to retire. In the middle of hid routine

“…min honey did you hear my question?”

She was looking up at him with knitted brows, looking slightly concerned.

“No my love I didn’t…”

He moved to wrap his arms around her waist to feel her warmth

She reciprocated immediately, holding her own hands on his back

“What were you thinking about during the after party? You looked lost in your own thoughts”

She turned her head up to gauge his reaction with nothing but adoration and slight concern in her eyes

Jumin smiled, his heart aching a tad

“Nicknames…” his baritone voice trailed of

“What about them honey?”

“Well… personal nicknames. You got one for all of the other members of the RFA, and I got jealous”

“Well I do have 2 for you but none of them really… I mean Juju is cute but I keep thinking of a certain drag queen and min…”

She blushed and immediately buried her head in his chest

Barely above a whisper, she uttered

“If I call you min or Min-Min… Seven and my family will tease me to death”

“Hmm..? Now you’ve piqued my curiosity, what is the correlation there?”

“Darling, you know my first language right?”

“Of course, Danish”

She squeezed him tighter as if to bury her head in his chest

“I know you’re a fast learner do you remember what kind of word ‘min’ is?”

As he searched his memory, he unconsciously started swaying

“Possesive pronoun, 1st person”

She nodded, her cheeks heating against his chest.

Jumin cupped her face to bring her in for a deep kiss.

I've started re-watching RWBY recently. In the beginning I really disliked Weiss but I grew to love her gradually ❤️
