Minimalist CC Icon (CC Wrench Replacement Mod)

I made this for personal use, but @deelishsimmer98 asked if I could share it, so here it is! It replaces the blue wrench banner on CC thumbnails in CAS and build mode to a more easy-on-the-eyes white “cc” text icon (or white dot for custom swatches).

Hi guys, every once in a while I’ll hear someone say that they lost a save game or a sim because their hard drive crashed or their laptop got lost. These sorts of things can happen to the best of us but it’s a shame to lose all that progress just because of a single hardware issue or silly mistake. That’s why I have all of my save games automatically uploaded to the cloud through Google Backup and Sync for free. You also don’t have to remember to start Backup and Sync because the program starts when your computer boots up.

First go and download backup and Sync from Google. It’s an easy process that doesn’t take long. Just make sure that you check the box to allow the program to start at bootup or else you’ll have to start the program manually every time you start the game.

At this point, you’ll also be asked to sign into your Google account if you have one. If you don’t have one, you’ll be prompted to create one. If you’re not sure, do you have a Gmail? Your Google Drive password is the same as your Gmail password since it’s all provided through Google.

After you’ve installed the program right click the cloud icon on your toolbar. You’ll be shown a menu and on the top right you’ll see three dots. Go to preferences.

The folders you see in this menu are the folders that Backup and Sync are automatically uploading to your private account. To add your save, click “CHOOSE FOLDER” and then navigate to where your save game folder is for which ever game it is that you want to be backed up. When the file is selected it’ll show up in your file list. Make sure that the box next to your file has a check mark to indicate that you’ve selected it for storage. You can see my Saves folder is marked for cloud storage in the above photo. This process can work with ANY sims game.

So we were looking around Mod the Sims for an aging mod as we can’t use MCCC due to it lagging our game down some. And we found quite a few, however, they either said they were outdated or they said the last update was in 2018 after the Cats & Dogs patch.

So instead of trying out each one and possibly breaking or corrupting or game, we recreated one of them.

When it comes to the math that they did we did the same and came up with the exact same numbers as them. We wanted to mention this so everyone can know we actually put in the work to make this.

The numbers below are based on the lifespan being set to normal. Short will halve numbers and long will either double or quadruple them (a lot of the mods we looked at were split about how the long lifespan was calculated by the game).

Vacuous Green

This lot comes with 3 houses one of which is fully furnished, a mini market and a basketball playground. I chose generic lot type but you can use it as residential too, also you could furnish empty houses if you want lol  I always would love to see your screenshots, so feel free to tag me @alerionjkeee​

So, as I said: I love Life is Strange! I continue to create builds from this game and today I would like to share with you this motel, which I decided to use like university dorm. As it turned out, it is kinda comfortable, cause there is a functional cafeteria. :з

       Hello, today we are going on an excursion to the Buddhist temple!

    Buddhism is the world’s fourth-largest religion with over 520 million followers, or over 7% of the global population, known as Buddhists. Buddhism encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and spiritual practices largely based on original teachings attributed to the Buddha and resulting interpreted philosophies. It originated in ancient India as a Sramana tradition sometime between the 6th and 4th centuries BCE, spreading through much of Asia. Two major extant branches of Buddhism are generally recognized by scholars: Theravada (Pali: “The School of the Elders”) and Mahayana (Sanskrit: “The Great Vehicle”).

Komainu (狛犬), often called lion-dogs in English, are statue pairs of lion-like creatures either guarding the entrance or the honden, or inner shrine of many Japanese Shinto shrines or kept inside the inner shrine itself, where they are not visible to the public. They can sometimes be found also at Buddhist temples, nobility residences or even private homes.

A pagoda is a tiered tower with multiple eaves common to China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Nepal, Myanmar and other parts of Asia. Most pagodas were built to have a religious function, most often Buddhist but sometimes Taoist, and were often located in or near viharas. The pagoda traces its origins to the stupa of ancient India.

The Japanese rock garden (枯山水, karesansui) or “dry landscape” garden, often called a zen garden, creates a miniature stylized landscape through carefully composed arrangements of rocks, water features, moss, pruned trees and bushes, and uses gravel or sand that is raked to represent ripples in water. A zen garden is usually relatively small, surrounded by a wall, and is usually meant to be seen while seated from a single viewpoint outside the garden, such as the porch of the hojo, the residence of the chief monk of the temple or monastery.

In our days the largest Buddha statue is The Laykyun Sekkya Buddha. This statue of Gautama Buddha stands on a 13.5-metre (44 ft) throne located in the village of Khatakan Taung, near Monywa, Myanmar.

Finally did it!!!

To tell the truth, this building was very hard for me. At some time, I realized that I just have not enough skills and knowledge in architecture and design. However, I was so inspired and wanted to make you pleased that I tried my best!

This night club for adults was built in an old factory building. There are 3 private rooms, which is guarded by a bouncer. 

I recommend to delete or close the door to the DJ’s room, otherwise all sims will dance only there lol
