The stone I bare was sentient long before I came to be, and I’m sure its felt many emotions of its own throughout its existence but the first feeling I’ve ever felt was pain. I was not yet whole. I came to be as Ultron. Or a part of him at least. This was the body he had created for himself, and he felt so deeply that when I created it was all I could feel. While dangerous and misguided, Ultron was still a being who could reason and feel and live - and it was his pain and agony for the world that brought me into this life.”
