lost

On a chilly summer dusk i was resting my head on her lap looking up at her chin as she gazed at a distance. I was focused on her moving lips and wobbling nose and I didn't hear a single word she uttered. A small aeroplane passing slowing over her head in the pastel sky. She continued with her words and they were still inaudible. I could live this instant on a loop for a million years. This is where I belonged. With her. This is where my home is. Its her.

i look like a fool because i expect the same energy from people.

never learnt to be happy so now i feel homesick for the suffering i was used to.

When you are used to getting your heart broken the path to nicer things/people will always be hard because with it you have to let go of the pain that was giving you a purpose to look for good things.
