haha, i was actually expecting this question 😭

most of the themes I post now are themes I started working on long before I became a theme creator. I just never shared them because I was too shy and didn't think they were good enough.

after I posted my first theme and saw how positive everyone's feedback was, I finally got the confidence to go back to those old projects, polish them up, and release them. (I also have way too much free time, lol.)

and to answer your other question: yes, I do have a base code, but it's mostly just something I use to experiment with ideas and see what I can come up with. Every new theme ends up changing a lot from there.

as for inspiration, pinterest is definitely my biggest source of ideas, along with other amazing theme creators whose work I really admire.

Wisteria

this theme was a bit of a challenge to make. I had a real love-hate relationship with it, haha. one day I'd be editing it and absolutely loving how it looked; the next, I'd want to give up and pretend it never existed 😭

but somehow, I found a level of patience I didn't even know I had and managed to finish it. in the end, I actually ended up really liking how it turned out, and I hope you all do too. i may add a few updates in the future if inspiration strikes. enjoy! 😚

hi everyone! the Daisy theme (theme #2) just went through a big revamp and the new version is up now ✧

on the outside it's still got that same cute vibe, but on the inside it was pretty much rebuilt from scratch: cleaner, lighter code and a lot more customization options so you can make it truly yours.

customization:

new link underline styles (solid, dashed, dotted, or none)

you can now type your own font size, post width, and corner roundness instead of picking from fixed presets

new toggles to turn borders, shadows, the updates tab, and smooth scroll on or off

new color palette

new design for the ‘ask’ section

look & header:

redesigned blog header (cover, avatar, and description now flow together better, and only show up if you've actually filled them in — no empty gaps if you don't use them)

ask and submission links now only appear if they're enabled on your blog

new look for the pinned post badge

cleaner design for each post's options menu (the 3-dot menu)

mobile responsiveness tweaks so it looks even better on phones

posts & navigation:

post notes now show up right on the page

fresh, cleaner pagination design

a little "link copied!" confirmation when someone copies a post's link

updated credit corner

behind the scenes, the code was also fully reviewed and reorganized, so the theme should be more stable and easier to maintain going forward.
