June’s birthstone is the moonstone, and it is considered sacred in many cultures. Many believe the moonstone allows those who wear it the gift of prophecy, and it’s also closely tied to matters of wisdom. If you feel like you need a bit of help when it comes to wise decision making, or an issues that require you to know what lies ahead, use this moonstone spell to give you a little extra guidance.

You’ll need:

A moonstone ring, pendant or loose stone

A bowl of water

Try to time this spell for the week before the full moon, and do it at night when the moon is visible.

Position the bowl so the moon light is reflected in the water, and place the moonstone inside.

Put your hands at the side of the bowl, look up at the night sky and say:

Wisdom, I need you

Guidance, I call to you

Perception, I welcome you

Allow the moonstone to sit overnight in the water, under the full moon.

In the morning, put on the ring or pendant, if it’s a loose stone carry it in your pocket, and allow the moon’s wisdom to guide you as you go about your day.

Hi lovelies! I've created this spell for the Aries new moon, in order to manifest and grow a better version of myself. I wanted to share it so that anybody else who is in need of a boost can do it too. Enjoy!

Elfin Tiaras and Crowns

A spell for letting go of things, and/or people, that no longer serve you and once held power over you.

I’m not sure if someone else already made a spell based off of this line or not, but it’s one of my favorite lines from my favorite movie and I’ve really been wanting to make some Labyrinth inspired spells so- if there is another spell like this one out there already, please just let me know and I’ll add a link to it!

You Will Need:

- A piece of paper - A pen or pencil (anything you can draw with really) - A black candle (for banishing ; white would work just fine too if you can’t get/don’t have a black candle) (optional) - A fire safe dish (not needed if you’re not using a candle)

🦉 Gather your materials and do anything you normally would before casting a spell- center, ground, cast a circle, whatever it is you do.  If you are using a candle you could carve a sigil into it for banishment, freedom, ‘I am free’, ‘You hold no power over me’, etc.

⭐ Take a moment to think of whatever it is that you want to let go of and anything that may be holding you back from moving on with your life- lingering emotions or fears, past relationships or situations you just can’t seem to let go of easily, etc.  If there is a particular person who seems to hold power over you, think of them.

🦉 Write down what it is that you wish to be rid of or draw it out.  If you’re doing to this to free yourself of someone, you could use a picture of them instead.

⭐ Once you’ve got everything down on paper, or have your picture, you can light your candle.  If you like you can say something along the lines of

“Through dangers untold and hardships un-numbered, I have fought my way here to this place in my life, beyond your reach And I take back what you have stolen from me.”

🦉 While focusing on your intentions of releasing yourself from these things/this person, carefully light the paper/picture in the candle’s flame while saying “You have no power over me.” and let it burn down to ashes.

⭐ ALTERNATIVELY: If you don’t wish to use a candle, or do but don’t want to burn anything you can simply rip the paper/picture up instead while saying “You have no power over me.”

🦉 Once your paper/picture is burned/ripped up, dispose of the remains however you see fit and are able to.

Well, there it is!  My first Labyrinth inspired spell!  I’m hoping to make many more based off of this movie since it’s been a favorite ever since I first saw it as a little kid, so- As always, feel free to change things up a bit with this if you like and I hope you’re having an amazing day/night!

Celestial Forecast

Week 17-23

Happy Pisces Season! 🐟✨This week will bring some exciting shifts before we end on the new moon’s final cycle in Pisces! It will start off with Mercury retrograding in Pisces which will create a time of mental rest and exploration while some helpful lunar transits will help us to clear house and help break up old or outdated routines to try new things.

Some overall advice this week: Do not be afraid to try new things and experiment in areas that you were always drawn to but always gave excuses as to why you felt you couldn’t explore them before. With the retrograde it’s not a time to start new things but it gives a safe window for you to explore and experiment with new stuff noncommittally.

Some additional notes: I’ve decided to add in the details for lunar transits so the ☽ next to a transit signifies that. Lunar transits are brief but they add additional flavors to the ‘mood’ of the day so I find it important to add them in (also us witches follow the moon so it’s important). Also I write for a witch community in London so the time is set to UTC and the week starts from Monday and ends on Sundays.
