lol i hope none of yall compare your physical state to your former self- i was 15 when i took this photo, my pores have gotten bigger and now i have dark circles under my eyes, point is im still really happy with my skin but im not 15 anymore and thats O!K! and its also okay that my skin is changing with me :-)

leaving places and people who no longer nourish or help you will be painful, no matter how much you know you need to leave, no matter how much you cherished them in the past, it will still hurt. it doesn’t mean you’re making the wrong decision. it means you care, it means it holds a special place in your heart. but it’s time to let go, because nothing will hurt more than staying in a place or a heart where you don’t fit anymore.

my favorite thing to do is look out my window at the lights in the houses in the distance like just wondering what those peoples lives are like you know and silently wishing them the best because someone else may be looking in the distance at my window and ... aren’t we all lights behind a window
