Dean shook his head, “ash took your mom into town…” He chuckles, “Sam’s at our motel…”

Jo finished unloading the beer case at her own pace, feeling Dean’s eyes on her, and then pulled off the small pouch from around her waist. “So,” the blonde started, and hung it on a hook near the door to the backroom. “If I didn’t know any better I’d say you paid my mom off to get me alone.” She then moved to lean over counter in front of him, but not so close as to invade his space. “What happened to being unlike all the other hunters that pass through here?”

He smiles, "they'd pay to get you alone? Just so I can take you out? On a nice normal date?"

Dean chuckles, “Then go find her… She’s not here. i promise…”

She remained speechless for a second, and turned away to recompose herself with a clear of her throat. “Fine. I’m sure Ash is around here somewhere.” Jo mumbled this to herself, hardly loud enough for him to correct her. She began unloading, stuffing beer bottles between arctic cold piles of ice. “So, where’s Sam?”

Laurie smiles and kisses him on the cheek. “Maybe the birthday boy should get a surprise,” she whispered.

He groans, "That sounds promising..."
