karolina having a childhood crush on nico is widely accepted for couple of reasons: 

1. 1x01 when karolina and nico were in the bathroom. a bitch doesn’t stare at her “””friend””” like that, only a lesbian who has harbored an intense crush on said person for several years has. 

2: on the nights of the gala karolina says the most romantic ass shit about being honest about who she wants to be with. that is code for ive denied my feelings for you for so long but now im ready to admit to them, 

3: 2x05 (or whatever they have sex for the first time). karolina says to nico “[molly] is fourteen, you remember what thats like” referring to the angst of being a young teenager. while this refers to just being a hormonally teenager and how everyone struggles with at that time, for karolina it hints at her angst over her sexuality and possibly trying to repress the fact that she has a crush on her best friend aka nico minoru, (this one is more subtle but when you have a feral brain like mine, you’ll catch it)

4: karolina’s wedding dream. she says this is what ive always wanted: you. yeah that bitch has DREAMT of this wedding for her entire life.

In an early BKV issue, there is a flashback to all the kids hanging out at a Pride meeting. It is insinuated they are a few years younger...long before they became aware of the Pride's intentions.

Nico has yet to adopt her signature goth style, and instead looks like a gigantic nerd

Despite this, Karolina is suggestively leaning toward her on the couch and obviously undressing her with her eyes in a completely unsubtle way that only a 13 yr old could get away with

Because it's clearly the only appropriate thought about taking things off in her mind, Karolina asks "have you thought about getting contacts, Nico?"

Do yall think this was Karolina's first kiss*?Clearly it was written as the first time she had kissed a girl, but maybe it was also meant to be interpreted as the first time she had kissed -anyone-? Given that her arc was all about being sheltered, it seems likely we are supposed to assume this. If so, that makes it an even more intense scene (if it could get any more intense for folks who read dozens of comic issues leading up to this). And speaks a lot to Karolina's character that she made the first move despite being so inexperienced. You go girl.

Bonus, it sorta explains away how awkward Ginny's kissing looks in comparison to Lyrica's haha. I know my first 1 and maybe first 100 kisses weren't the greatest, but I was lucky to have a gf willing to teach me ;)

hmmm here’s a list of things i hOpe season 3 doesn’t do/stays away from

1. keep the parents alive. they need to take a back seat and at least 2 parents need to die for the runaways to have their own screentime bc im tired of half the show being dedicated to their parents smh

2. the kids not having downtime. i think the development of the runaways as individuals and as a group dynamic would be a lott better if they had time to be kids and explore their individual relationships and personalities

3. gert and chase getting back together too quickly. lmao unpopular opinion but i think they have a lot to work out that shouldnt be fixed within at least the first 5 episodes. also they need to talk it out and acknowledge their feelings and hurt in a healthy way

4. no victor mancha. the introduction of topher made me realize how id love another runaway esp if they kill some parents and focus on the kids more

5. no chase development. i NEED a scene where he breaks down and cries or something i need a chase breaking down scene bc lbr the boy is holding too much in and he needs to let go. he’s more than just comic relief and eye candy send tweet

6. alex remains an outsider. imma need yall to stop treating alex like shit and the runaways to take him more seriously. i want him to be loved and to not be viewed as an outsider bc truly he deserves better

7. leslie stays w the kids for more than .2 seconds. lmao i dont need leslie as the 7th runaway y’all can keep that. this whole subplot of the kids working w the parents is confusing to me eye

8. they make xavin/karo/nico into this weird angst love triangle. they can keep that bc i dont want it lmaao

9. lack of chemistry in relationships . lmaao i joke abt this all the time but the passion/chemistry/kisses need to go 10x harder than last season for any of these relationships to be believable esp considering the state that most of the characters are in rn.
