the whole "insulting someone based on their appearance is bad because it could indirectly hurt people you like who share that feature" is a good start for unlearning body shaming but i do think we need to go further and remind people that even if there was some physical trait that was magically 10000% exclusive to conservatives and creeps and nobody else ever had it, we still shouldnt be insulting them based on that. because the problem with them is not their appearance its their ideology and actions. by insulting their appearance you arent just indirectly insulting others who look like that, youre literally not making the correct point. stay on topic ya know.

I beg you, if you have friends with adhd that struggle with RSD a lot, believe them when they tell you it’s bad. I would literally block you and detach from simply using certain words with me, that I feel were an attack on me, even if they were not, I will start hating you for simply stopping something you do with me on the daily, I will start resenting you for misunderstanding me, I will believe you hate and before anything I’ll hate you before you’ll actually do and stop communicating. It’s a real struggle, it brings shame and even talking about it sets a person off because it will feel like the world ended just for the smallest things ever, and they feel like a victim or making big scenes about this that instead unfortunately they feel very deeply. Be aware of your words and pay attention to your friends. If you love them please do.
