Hello anon! I’m no-one to be giving you advice, and what I’m gonna say comes from love, but please please please don’t be focusing on that right now. I know it sucks, and I actually think it’s healthy to take time to be sad or angry about the things we might be missing out and not feel guilty for thinking that way (I was supposed to be out of state with a couple of friends this week, for instance, a trip I’ve been planning for weeks and still breaks my heart and makes me so mad that it couldn’t happen and I’m quarantined), but there’s a bigger picture we should be looking at. I know a lot of you saved money, made plans, moved stuff around and were so looking forward to this, but it’s out of our hands.

And if it were any event, I would be telling you this still. But, from one Queen fan to another, I think we especially should be taking into consideration Brian and Roger’s health above all. God knows what the world is going to look like in mid-June, and hopefully things will be slightly back to normal. Still, I’m sure there are going to be extra precautions to be taken, and for much as we’d like to believe that Brian and Roger are invincible (and they are so full of energy that we see them as they were when they were younger), they are part of the at risk population and they need to be extra careful. Now more than ever, “protect them at all costs!” is more than just a meme. Also, gatherings of that number and logistics can put a lot of people at risk: Adam, the crew, the supporting band, caterers, makeup artists, and so on. And the crowds going there to see them too,

If the decision to postpone the tour is made, I would ask you to not spam Roger and Brian or get angry at them, because we know they are so hard-working and sometimes disregard their own health in benefit of us (remember Brian did most of the American tour with muscle pain that required surgery). I know making a decision like that will be so hard for them, the hyped hardworking rockstars that they are. But it’s a moment to value the health of all our family and loved ones (and yes, that includes people you don’t know personally but deeply care for, like Bri and Rog)  above all.

john: *muttering through clenched teeth* if i had more than a bloody pencil, i could open the control panel and fix this shit up… roger: would it help if i jump up and down again? brian: roger no. freddie: *mimicking reporter voice* …and they eventually found their bodies in an oxygenless lift, while ironically their album dominated the charts -for never was a story of more woe than this of freddie and his bros.

because this anecdote of QUEEN being stuck in an elevator while Bohemian Rhapsody reached #1 in UK, is one of my fav ever, i had to draw something for it, so… TADA!! (sorry for the bad quality, i added colors rather quickly -i just didn’t know what to do with them :P)
