Once a veritable pillar of miqo'te ritual and familial sacrifice, Flidais' noble and traditional upbringing came to a crashing halt in her adult years as sorrow and grief drove her to commit what she would consider her most unforgiveable act to both herself and the one that she had managed to come to love. Approached in a moment of weakness and vulnerability by a being known only as 'Howl,' Flidais' agreement to take the helm of the cursed galleon that sought a new Captain has given her a life away from the pain and guilt of the one she had before - but is a life lived as the physical extension of a cursed criminal really salvation, or just the first step into a long fall to hell?
