There's always something to come back to. Like leftovers, or a window you remember as a kid with a view of your grandmothers garden, or a trampled path leading to nowhere, or that someone forgiving you for not being loved. I have come to know this remote way of viewing you, and living without you--like a dream from Missouri. I now see you in some other life without me, just as you are now. Dropping blood on every stone like a secret you can only paint on rocks in the woods. &&&& If I could turn once more at your marvelous light that somehow made its way under my door --like left over laughter or drinking water by a reservoir.
