in afterglow, the part before they got together when tr wasn't sure if jj felt the same since he kept flirting with other girls. BUT ALSOOO!! IN SEALED!! this one would be more deeper, but i also think it could work?? like we know they used to be closer and jj cares about her even though they have been distant w/ each other. and i keep thinking about the scene where they're fixing the generator, like everything that tr says really gets him, because he values her opinion so much and she doesn't let his mistakes go as easily as the others. and so even though he really gets hurt sometimes by the things she says (i love angst omg), he still feels so drawn to her!!

oooo i love this question sm!! so for ag it's a pretty basic plot but fun fact: the entire concept of luke being the reason why jj wants to keep their relationship a secret didn't come up until a couple parts before part 12. originally it was going to be jj solely using the kook vs. pogue dynamic as an excuse but i realized in that version his actions were a lot less defendable & i guess i just wasn't ready to make him that toxic haha
thank you sooo much for your praise on sealed. that story is literally my baby, and i get so happy when you guys feel the same about it as i do <333 that story has also gone through a few different potential avenues that are quite different from where we're at rn, but originally, the idea came from literally just wanting to write a marriage of convenience plot with jj. it was hard with his character since he's not a kook, money wouldn't be a driving factor. and then i remembered when i watched pretty little liars when i was younger and i had a vague memory of i think hannah and caleb getting married to invoke spousal privilege (it could've been other characters i'm not sure) and i was like HELLO???? that's literally perfect for outer banks. like the show as comedic and fun as it is, is DARK!! hahaha so shoutout watching PLL with my older sisters when i wasn't supposed to

heyyyy iāve been rereading the chapters for āsealed by the stormā and girlllllā¦ IM SO OBSESSEDDD FRRRR š the story got even better the second time lol!! i genuinely sometimes forget that itās not canon, like itās so much better than the actual s4 we got š«¢š now i need a full series rewrite following those two LMAO iām joking but just know that i would give my firstborn for it, thatās how much i love the character and how you write everyone
