I find funny when I see on internet clearly young people protesting that they don't find an animation job after graduation or using that for victimice themselves because, real topic: graduating yourselve from an art school doesn't mean that you are ready.
Most of the tv studios are looking for people that has a portfolio already that shows creations that could be perfectly apearing on a TV Show.
Ah yes, and hard take here: battle animations are the most easy thing to do and the less they require. Most shows are looking for half body acting, indeed the hardest thing to representate. You have to be an actor for be an animator, don't forget that.

Somenthing that is gonna happend in the fanproyect movie "Sonic Villains" and that we have to acept as soon as possible is that most of the villains apearing are gonna be completely irrelevant to the plot.
Just like sonic Forces used Chaos like an NPC for Sonic to fight in a cinematic and that's all.
The creator of the film is already crazy for wanting to animate such amount of different characters that are gonna share screen at the same time at one point, so we can't blame him for not making all of them relevant.

Now that I've been studying 3D animation I have to say: it's as hard as learning how to draw 2D characters in a professional way or making 2D animations as good as old disney movies because of a reason:
FUCKING. RIGGING.
Seriously, wanting to do your character in 3D by your own and being able to animate it like it was from a tv movie requires a series of knowledge that is not intuitive at all. You even need to know programation in python for create a better rigg wtf.
Ah yes, depending on how good the characrer rig is, the animation will be directly affected by that. You can perfectly only being able to create static action toy animation and nothing more with a simple rigg
We don't even talk about texturizing and render... The features that does not require only being creative but also to literaly do something as technical as is connecting dots in a determinated order... and it's mandatory to have your character texturized and rendered because if not it will look like a hell cursed creature straight from hell and people will feel repulsion of him.
Yup, this is the reason of why there's not many 3D animators on the internet compared with the 2D ones.
I remember writing somenthing about the TaDC fandom wanting Jax to be redeemed because they hated his behavior in chapter 2.

cultural appropriation is definitely not the correct term for it but i genuinely GENUINELY feel something like that when people associate capybaras with Japan, I know that this is probably cus south America has overall very little influence on like general worldwide culture or what not but it is infuriating how their actual native region doesn't even show up on the suggested search.
and how so many "cute capybara art" is them in Japanese hot springs under cherry blossom drinking macha or some shit. it pisses me off . carpinchos/ capybaras are native to south america.
