Boy with a Blue Umbrella

Started making a brick-built toa head literal years ago and picked up a few months ago to finish it in time for the anniversary. (20 years y’all holy shit) Decided to make it a freestanding desk statue type thing. Ended up finishing it in CAD so I could build it without being limited to parts I had. And then had a lot of fun making the base for the statue. More photos in the link above!

Inktober day 6 (sort of) and 8 through 11... I skipped 7 and did 6 twice because I got a few different ideas, none of which I ended up happy with. Oh well! More on @yannickdesignsthings on Instagram still!

I’ve been rereading Lord of the Rings for the first time in years over the last few months...

(Poison Dart Trolls are very small by troll standards. They are commonly posted as guards despite their size and vibrant colors due to the incredible toxicity of the poison that oozes from their skin.)
