The minute she is ushered behind the tall man, Vivi immediately rushes to hide. She's holding tight onto her Eevee, who is staying still. At the question of what Vivi's hiding from, the Galarian shakes her head.

"Not a what, a who!" She says, clearly still a little panicked. "Some woman tried taking my Pokémon, saying her child wanted it. I told her that my Pokémon isn't some toy, and she still tried to take my Eevee out of my arms!"

At least people could be counted on to be the same even when nothing else was.

"No need to offer a meal for me, this is how most people should be."

There is a notion that, potentially, he could be being set up. That this was some sort of elaborate entrapment that would result in his wallet being stolen..but its not as if he had a lot to take anyways. So it was a gamble willing to be taken.

It's only after a moment that he pauses to realize she had said Pokemon and his head tips back to look at her curiously.

"I do not know," Vivi answers, "but I had ran into these flowers a while ago." Another peony starts to wilt.

"It was rather annoying and embarrassing to lay my thoughts bare without any rhyme or reason." The pink trainer sighs.

"You can pluck them out, but they cause a lot of pain." To demonstrate, Vivi reaches up to yank the partially wilted peony out of her hair. The wince is not hidden.

"I See..that matches up some with what Itadori spoke of.. He mentioned that I shouldn't withhold information but didn't go too in depth on the flowers part. Just that..It would be best if I didn't hold back."

A Pause.

"Unless it was 'pathetic or creepy'." He gets to watch then, in real time, as the impromptu corsage along his chest proceeds to quickly, unnaturally, wilt and fall forward from the gap between his buttons. His eyes follow the natural progression till the husk of a sunflower lays on the ground between the both of them.

"Well, that seems to count, then? As a truth? ..."

Higuruma isn't quiet sure what to say in that regards because, technically everything one said was a truth until it wasn't, right?

The starched presence gathered his attention, and he knew it was Higuruma before the older gentleman spoke. Yuuji assessed his mentor, searching for the telling buds that warned unfolding truths. Thankfully, he didn't find a single colorful bloom on his first look through. He released a silent sigh of relief and raised a hand to greet Higuruma.

"Don't get too carried away with that newfound freedom," Yuuji warned cryptically. He closed the distance, swiping a figure across his sleeve jacket to present the dusty pollen upon his finger pad. "See it?" he rose his index finger closer to Higuruma's eyes.

Mention of not holding back on his words does make Higuruma pause a little to consider that. Eyes casting skywards as he mulls it about in his head.

As far as he knew, he didn't have any creepy thoughts..perhaps a few pathetic ones, but every human had those. Just because he was older doesn't mean he's above such notions...so to avoid spilling something like that he reasons that he simply needs to stay away from situations that would call for it.

Like having too in-depth personal conversations.

Hm.

"I see. You don't seem to be bothered by the pollen itself.. outside of the dryness in the air anyways."

His eyes come back down to look at Yuji in turn and really observe the 15-- no wait 16? ...He really didn't quiet know did he? The way Yuji spoke made it seem like he had been here much longer than the rest of them and that was the uncertain part.

"Is it because you've grown out of your white lies? Or do you have nothing to lie about anymore these days?"

Higuruma's fingers cease on his tie and he lets his hand come down to find purchase in his pocket instead.

"Interesting. So a temporary barrier that unlocks your true abilities while inside." He says it more to himself than to the younger woman in front of him. Though he does address her proper right after.

"Does anyone live up there constantly?"

He figured it worth a shot to ask if only to gauge whom might be benefiting from the Isle on a daily basis. Especially if she mentioned there being a shrine there for anyone to visit.

"Sorry if this seems like a lot of questioning, I'd just like to know what I can before seeing it for myself."

He didn't really have a real single clue as to what was happening around him. The streets were filled with mechanical and organic monsters hellbent on bashing in the heads of people singing on and around a makeshift stage.

The only thing he really had a handle on was that he felt amazing. The strength he remembered he had, the senses that awakened-- and better yet, his curse and just about all his weaponry were at his disposal now.

It made killing these creatures easy. It made killing these things fun. What was even more interesting was not being alone in the reverie of the night.

His neighbor, Mr. Lawyer Man had been holding his own in terms of one might think effortlessly.

"Didn't think they taught weapon training at law school."

"They don't."

Where as the former Sorcerer Killer seems to revel in the unrestricted violence, the former Sorcerer chose to treat this as something to test his temporary restored state.

So he twists himself to catch the back-swing of his own Gavel and use that momentum to bounce the unconventional weapon off the skull of another rotten cyborg.

He's gotten separated from Eiden. He hates this. He was all alone at the beginning of it all, before a child showed up and then got separated from him. Now Eiden.

Sun isn't in any of the rooms yet. He doesn't like the smooth feeling of the ground. The way his knuckles glide across it and the way his bare feet feel when they are planted on the cold ground. He doesn't like the smell either.

He exhales shakily and looks around. It's then that he picks up another presence. Tail flicks then curls in.

Sun lowers himself into a ready-to-attack stance.

At least until he turned a corner.

His eyes snap only a little too late to the crouched form seemingly waiting for him. A reflexive twitch of his hand reaches for- something- that isn't there and that he forgets he can't bring to the surface. So instead his body jerks back out of instinct of finding something-- someone-- that he hadn't been anticipating.

He's only heard secondhand stories about Higuruma during the month they were training before the Shinjuku fight, but Yuji had spoken highly of him - and now he knew Higuruma had been on the radar of Sukuna right after Gojo himself had been cut down.

He was interesting, moreso because he seemed to have absolutely no interest in the separation that came from the title of Special Grade. There were four sorcerers in the world that had been labeled as such and each one had been a force to be reckoned with in their own ways.

"You've made the assumption that the humbleness would be physical by asking it like that. If that were the case, there are many more capable brawlers whom could do so."

His eyes come back to the front to level with Gojo. The annoyance no longer having to be veiled leaving him a little lopsided from the previous effort.

"But I still won't lie to say that wouldn't be at least a little satisfying."

Not that he would call the Powerhouse standing in his proximity humbled from his fight with Sukuna. If anything, it was a text-book example of Glory in Death. Fulfilling something ancient and known in the greater scheme.
