I actually applied for a McDonalds job and got an automatic interview because I met the ‘minimum qualifications’ for whatever it is they needed and when I went I was 3 minutes early (as to show I am a ‘go-getter’) and the lady at the counter with a mouth full of braces said “Go take a seat, we’ll speak with you in a second”.

I had accidentally worn a red polo shirt that day and it was already making me feel insecure, did the red convey desperation? Would someone read into it? I sat at a table all nice and polite and then I proceeded to wait. For 35 freaking minutes. Hands folded in my lap and chewing nervously on my lip. Workers would come out for their breaks and shoot me an awkward glance before ignoring me as they scrolled on their phones. Okay. I started getting antsy because now I have this feeling of “I already announced my presence once, I’m not going to go up there and beg for it again.”

How long would I be here? When would 35 minutes become 40? 50? When would it break into an hour? There was a big sign in front of me that said you could only be in the restaurant for a maximum of 30 minutes. I stand up to maybe tell someone that I’ll just come back later, but then a child fell down in the playpen and this awful, guttural pig screeching started flooding the lounge. My stomach did a horrible twist and I thought. No. No, I really ought to just leave right now. So I scrambled off without saying anything and drank a sodie pop at the minimart instead, pondering why they avoided me like that. My father says it’s because I am too pretty to work at McDonalds, and they didn’t want me to mess up the status quo with my gorgeousness. Thank you, Father. You’re still making me pay rent this month though LOL.

It’s okay right now I’m blossoming into an Awesome Stage and my taste will become even MORE supreme and my boobs will become even more BOUNCY and everything will work out just fine 🤍🤍🤍 even if I have pus in my face and smell a little funny 🤍🤍🤍

It seems like maybe they don’t want ‘edgy’ or emo artist? I understand vancaf is probably trying to walk on eggshells since they fired the whole team in 2024 or something like that lol… but when I’m rejected from Seattle cons it’s like…. wehhh…..!!!
