She smiled down at her newly painted blue toes and wiggled them.

Though Leroy was but a year or so older then him and Reu would protest they were nothing alike. But when Reu was young and still growing into himself he was watching Leroy intently, much like Stitch does.

After a particularly lazy day on the train, Flynn was just about ready to devour his own stomach from the inside out. The Diner Car was his next stop - refuel before he carried on with the arduous task of doing absolutely fuck all for the rest of the day.

Time to take her mind off of things, and the best and only way she knew. It was time to make her car spic and span!

Her fingers added a soft tinkle to the end of the melody and she sighed happily and sat back in the chair. A fluke like that had never happened before.

In her dreams, it was almost always the same, but also different.

Never had he said he was proud of her. He’d say he was pleased or happy or impressed, but never proud. It made her heart race with happiness, a smile plastered itself onto her face as she ran a hand through her hair, still unable to believe a conversation with her father had gone so wonderfully perfect.

He was good-looking, Belle wasn’t blind, but he was also a misogynistic pig of a man with a terrible personality.

He heaved in a breath, straightening his back, still staring at the mirror. He couldn’t move. He couldn’t look away. His gaze locked as the skin peeled away. Rotted flesh. Ivory bone. The skin slid and slithered away from his flesh, revealing an open chest cavity. Dead, blackened heart. Eyes bulging at him. Amber.

She took out her notebook - the one with all her dad’s stories in them - and placed the photo inside, knowing it would be safe with the rest of her memories.

The way he’d held them was exactly the way she held them now, as if all of her mama’s love for the both of them was held inside each little pearl.

"I’d almost forgotten about you." A lie. Of course she hadn’t.

She just wanted so badly to be missed if she disappeared again.
