Related to the 3 in 1 manga coming out with the original names, it seems like Viz will also be continuing with the single volumes using good ol' Jimmy still! I think they're double dipping now, with both 3 in 1s and single volumes. Source being the Indigo website listing future releases up to 103, releasing AFTER the first 3 in 1 is scheduled to release. Very interesting all around and I personally sighed with relief, since I have the collection of single volumes lol
Sure hope that’s the case cause ugggghhhh @_@ I don’t care if they suddenly just switch to the Japanese names next release, I just don’t want single volumes to disappear entirely because I hate leaving stuff incomplete

VIZ Media has just announced they will re-publish the Detective Conan manga under its real title and with the original names!! The revamped volumes will be published as 3-in-1 editions, starting Spring 2027!!
Apparently, the reason why VIZ Media can finally re-publish Detective Conan under its real title is because the Robert E. Howard estate is falling into public domain in 2027, and therefore Conan the Barbarian doesn't hold copyright anymore.
While it seems completely absurd to copyright an actual surname, there is credence to that interpretation, as even Conan O'Brien had to pay the Robert E. Howard estate to keep the title of his show.
This goes to show copyright laws are often utter nonsense.
A friend pitched this fun art idea in response to the (very cool!) news that Case Closed will be getting 3-in-1 reprints under the original Detective Conan title next year! :D Adding it here to this post which provides some good context. (Thank you, OP!)

I heard that Detective Conan is going to have a cross over with Star Detective Pretty Cure, on both series. One episode for pretty cure, which is episode 18 for the show, next week, and another one on detective Conan on June 6. Are you going to cover both episodes when they air?

hi I've been rewatching Conan as per you rewatch guide and I keep a spreedsheet of the ones I've watched up until now. Are the episode numbers in the rewatch guide were in reference to the japnese release episode numbers or the international one, as they differ slightly?
I use the Japanese episode number count!
Do u think we should watch the movies while watching the show or watch them all after finishing the show?
Since the show has so many episodes I wasn't really sure.

My recommendation is watch them where I have them listed in the watch order guide as it'll place the movies in between whatever episodes aired around the time of the movie's release and then you'll have the relevant characters that were present during that time be present in the movies. (Or in the case of characters like Shiratori, be introduced to the character prior to his anime episode debut.)

Which episode was the one when Yukiko death glared after someone called her old?
Episode 335, and it wasn't just anybody, it was Conan, who immediately regretted his word choice. ^^;
Hi, I was wondering about the episodes collections that are being added to Netflix. Are they missing any episodes and are they accurate?
Long story short, TMS is trying their hand at something different for promoting the series in English speaking countries, so they're focusing on batches of plot related/character focused episodes instead of bothering with anime original episodes.
So, yes to missing episodes, and as to their accuracy (I'm guessing you mean translation accuracy?) I can't speak to that as I haven't watched them thoroughly but from what I can tell from what I've seen they're accurate translations based on what we've seen before; I'm not fluent in Japanese. According to a very recent interview ANN did with the new dub staff, the ADR director is a super Conan fan, so I'm gonna roll with that they're doing the series justice.
