Tom king just retconned Ra’s to be an active part of Damian’s childhood and the only thing he can think to do with that is to also make Ra’s horribly abusive. Ra’s wouldn’t do that and even if he did, TALIA would not allow it. I’m so angry

There is not a single reason why Ra’s would do this to his own grandson, not to mention this would literally kill a child. So what are we implying? That Ra’s regularly murdered his grandson? I wouldn’t be surprised, considering King also tried to push that Ra’s regularly murdered Talia too, and left her to decompose before resurrecting her again. This writing is vile, gratuitous and racist (the al Ghul’s historically didn’t live in a desert, so why are we bringing that up?)

Ra's saw what rich people do with their children. They make them do a little bit of everything. But Talia hated ballet and piano. Thank god she at least got her med degree otherwise he would he ashamed of her.
