Super excited to be on the beach

WILL rush you to finally finish rubbing the sunscreen on him so he can dive into the sea and look at the fishies

His little friends will of course also come with him

You're unsure if some of then need sunscreen aswell but Thrash seems to be some kind of fish, so you assume they're good

Wingman will follow you around like a lost puppy anyway so you build some sand castles with him until you have to drag Gekko out of the water to reapply his sunscreen

Gekko will scheme with his little buddies. Wingman is supposed to distract you while he'll run out of the water and swoop you up in his arms, you already saw what was coming but you were still shocked at the feeling of the cold sea water all around you after he threw you into the water

Luckily Thrash was there to lift you up above the waves again

Little mosh pit was secure in his carrier Gekko carries with him all the time but he still enjoyed the trip

Reyna

Straight up just chillaxin' on the beach towel you brought.

"Don't you want to come in the water with me??" you'd ask her, sticking your bottom lip out in a pretend pout.

"Cariño, I've had enough stress the last few weeks I do not want to come in the water with you to get my head dunked under water." How did she know you were going to try that?

As cold as she is sometimes she still enjoys the time together, despite her statement earlier she will also join you in the water ;)

Afterwards she'll insist on putting on her beach dress and having a picnic on the beach towel

Noticably a little upset about a bit of sand scattered on the towel, nothing you can do about it though, she tries her best not to be too frustrated about it (even though it annoys her very much)

A fan of light snacks on a hot day out

Reyna will keep you out of the water after a meal, doesn't want you to drown after all

Tells you to read a book, if that's too boring for you will give you a massage, she does enjoy doing so as long as she gets repaid later (will also give you one while reading if it doesn't bother you)

An enjoyer of quiet time

Will therefore come to the beach with you at either unreasonably early or late hours

Enjoys watching the sunrise/sunset with you while cuddled up in towels

"Sasha, are you sure this is fine??", you'd ask about his shocking proposal to skinny dip

"Of course, why not? The sun has set and nobody is here."

You would've never guessed he was that adventureous but you figured it makes sense wit how in tune he is with nature.

Still super protective of you and will wrap you up in towels as soon as you get out of the water.

If the sun has just risen he also enjoys reading some books while the world is all quiet and all you can hear is the waves crashing on the shore.

You'll cuddle up to him every time he does read and you also almost always fall asleep right then and there aswell.

Doesn't matter though, before any other guests arrive he'll just pick you up from your sleeping position and carry you to your car to bring you back to the place where you were staying.

"Maybe you do need a little more sleep", "Sasha nooooo I promise I'm awake now..", but he'll lay you down in your cozy bed where you fall sleep again every time he does. Maybe he knows what you need better than you know yourself.

Cannot stick to a bed time routine for the life of her

"Ohhh I should definitely use this moisturizer a lot more often!", forgets about it in mere minutes

Will go to bed at seemingly random times, often a lot of the time later than you, sometimes she's in bed by afternoon already

Swears she'll come to bed with you

Will then lay there and still doomscroll for a bit

She WILL complain about going to bed way too late and then do it the next day all over again of course

"You know you could just go to bed with me", you try to reason but then she'd argue she's "way too awake right now" and still needs a good workout before going to bed

Continues to then go ahead and go for an evening or night time run to clear her head, would gladly take you with her of course but if you're slower than her she'll sprint ahead and wait for you at some later point

After those runs she'll usually be knocked out once her head hits the pillow, "She definitely needs her sleep", you'd think to yourself in those moments.

And you're right! Because when she does go to bed way too late again sometimes you'll pull her in for a nap after her training, of course she'll complain about that aswell. You don't mind though, you know she gets a little grumpy when she's tired or "running low" as she'd put it but you know it's more than just her powers telling her to stop

An absolute menace, even when asleep. Tosses and turns for hours on end, you could swear she runs her own little marathon in her dreams

Usually you can hug her close, tuck her head under your chin and she'll quickly calm down

that said if your requests are still open, may i request hcs for phoenix when reader (gender neutral will do!) tells him they're proud of him? like from the silly reckless duelist who gets himself into trouble, to the responsible leader that called the shots in paris :')

"You know Jamie, I'm proud of you", you told him during a quiet moment, no one in ears reach while getting ready to watch a movie.

Would be taken aback at first and not quite understand

"Huh? Where does that come from all of a sudden?"

You could tell he was already a little flustered, turning the other way pretending to read the instructions on how to make the popcorn in the microwave

You really wanted him to know you were serious about what you just said, so you elaborated, "Yes, I mean it. You've come a long way. From rushing in without any second thought to actually managing a team and not risking anyone dying. Well, I get it you're a radiant and skilled enough to pick your duels, but it's just.. so nice not having to worry about if you're coming home or not anymore."

He thought about it for a second. He'd never thought about it that way, and he was a little taken aback that you worried about him this much when he was away.

"Look if I knew you worried this much I would've slowed down sooner!", he tried to argue, as if he needed to explain himself.

"Jamie, calm down. You don't need to justify your behaviour from before. I got with you knowing the way you are. I'm not complaining about it in any way, just telling you I appreciate on how far you've come, I am proud of you. I truly mean it. Not having to worry about you anymore is just a bonus", you joked, hoping it would lighten his mood

And it did. He told you he really appreciated you telling him that and he would spend a good chunk of the movie thinking about what changed in him to mature like this.

Up until the point where he noticed he'd completely forgotten the popcorn and he just HAD to storm up off the couch to finally go make it.

You guess he'll never change some of his ways, but that was fine by you, you love him just the way he is

He also may or may not have put the popcorn in the microwave a little too much during his rush

"Just come watch the movie and enjoy the evening with me", you told him chuckling, watching him act the exact opposite way of what you just praised him for

"Alright, alright. Just pretend that never happened.. please", he'd say while hurrying back to the couch with the bowl of popcorn, just a little burned at the bottom

I must admit I was not a big Phoenix enjoyer at first with his whole lowkey rushing in and big ego bullshit, but I guess I did also learn to like and appreciate him more and writing this was a lot of fun!

Sleeping together (literally); Iso

Has a strict routine before going to bed, will NOT let you interrupt it

But of course you still try because it's funny sometimes ;)

He knows you're not doing it to be mean so he's not bothered by it, even uses it to make YOU pay the price for it (forces you to do his skin care routine with him)

"No entrance to the bathroom without the entrance fee!" you'd explaim, blocking the doorway with your smaller frame, "and what is the fee you're talking about?", he'd ask. You'd sheepishly reply "A hug and five kissies!"

Gladly pays said "fee" of course ;)

But in return doesn't let go of the hug and just carries you into the bathroom with him

You've done this several times by now so you knew to get your headband so the product wouldn't end up in your hair and enjoyed while he applied his expensive products on your face before doing the same on his own.

Afterwards you both snuggled into bed comfortably

Iso makes sure to cuddle you for a while before actually going to sleep

Which makes sense because he sleeps like a corpse. On his back, arms above the blanked, not moving an inch during the night.

Seperate blankets. He can't stand it when you change your sleeping position and he's left with none of the blanket while you're wrapped in the entirety of it.

You've gotten used to it after a while but it took a while to accept no cuddles during the night.

If for some reason you've woken up before him you sometimes cuddle up to his arm, which does wake him up but he'll gladly initiate some more cuddles by that time

If he wakes up before you do (happens a lot more often than the other way around) he'll be your big spoon until he has to get up

Fade Morning After/Fluff Headcanons

Would very well still be upset about falling asleep even after a fun night out

Definitely less upset when she saw that she woke up in your arms

A fan of slow mornings after nights like that

Grumpy when waking up, it's best to just wait until she eventually turns the other way to cuddle her pillow and then sneakily get out of bed to make her a coffee, after all you've made her coffee hundreds of times before

Maybe she doesn't get up so you bring it to her ;)

Will already await you in bed, eager to receive her coffee

After having it she will become much more talkative, telling you how much she enjoyed last night and how you guys definitely need to go out like that again whenever she gets a day off again

Won't straight up insist you spend the rest of the day with her aswell but it will be implied

"Oh, yeah we should do this later", "Do you want to come with me to do X?", which isn't meant as a question. She expects a yes. You do feel honored by it but would probably appreciate it if she was a little more honest with her feelings

She's trying her best. She's never been this close to anyone before and she's still scared something might happen to you because of her shady past so she's torn between getting closer because she loves you or staying away because of her fears, nightmare constantly reminding her of those aswell.

But she does decide to appreciate any moment she can spend with you and tries to push those fears in the back of her mind as far as she can manage

A little funny if you ask her, is this how the people she hits with her prowlers feel?

"Hazal, no work talk now. You asked me to go on a picnic so now enjoy it.", you said calmy, reminding her that this is not a place for such serious thoughts right now. She didn't even notice she was lost in her thoughts and mumbling her thoughts out loudly but she appreciated being pulled out of that again and being able to enjoy the moment.

Jealousy Headcanons

Tejo

Tejo will let you know fairly directly if anything is wrong

He'll pull you aside and ask you if the guy who stood too close to you for his liking bothered you

You'd tell him it was just a childhood friend and you didn't even notice him standing that close, he figured already since he knows how you are

After he talked to you about it first if it every happened again he definitely would give a stern talking to the culprit aswell.

Even if you didn't, he did notice the way your "friend" stepped closer and he was confused why he even thought about doing it while he was in the vicinity?

"Why don't you take a step back from my girlfriend first of all?", he'd say from the side. The culprit immediately backing off.

"I'm sorry, I- I didn't know", he'd say as he backed off

At this point Tejo made sure to always keep his hand in yours or his arm on your shoulder

Tejo thought being near you was enough to get the point across since he does seem pretty intimidating but he made a note to himself that apparently people don't get the hint

He'd never direct his jealousy on you in a mean way but he does wonder how you're sometimes so oblivious

It did make you even more adorable to him though and if he does get jealous it passes in a short while when you come up running to him showing him the next little thing that excited you

Chamber

More of the silent type

Instead of talking about anything regarding his jealousy he'll watch and grumble to himself in his thoughts

Would get super touchy though, if he sees someone inching too close to you he'll come up to you from behind and put both of his arms around you, hoping the culprit catches the hint

If no hint is being caught he'll resort to blatantly flirting with you

Telling you how good you look, playing with your hair or fiddling with your jewelry (that he bought, and he will make sure this is a known fact by usually saying "I picked just the right color gem for your eyes, a shame I didn't buy the whole set for you", will also surprise you later with the rest of the set)

If the culprit is persistent in keeping you busy he'll say you have some outlandish things planned right about now to get you both out of the situation

"Oh honey, I'd hate to cut your conversation short but we have a reservation for a five course meal in ten minutes, we need to get going!"

Is a mature man but will sometimes, even if unintentional, hold a grudge when you gave the other man too much attention for his liking

Nothing a good hug from behind and a "I would never replace you Vincent, you know I love you" couldn't fix

He knows you do love him and he loves you so it's moreso unintentional when he holds grudges, he may be a bit insecure and think you'd leave him for someone with a less dangerous and less controversial job ( as you tell him, you would never)

Sleeps surprisingly well given his occupation, which makes sense since he seems pretty at peace with what he does

He occasionally gives you tips he'd give his team mates during missions while you get ready for bed

"My father used to say: the fight is won before the first punch is thrown." he'd say standing in the doorway of the bathroom looking at you brushing your teeth, "Honey, I'm not throwing any punches" you'd jokingly answer words muffled by the toothpaste, sometimes you didn't know what to do with his statement he's had enough experience on the battlefield for several lives himself he wouldn't want you on the battlefield to actually make use of them

Wouldn't call you your real name ever (thanks to pet names this isn't a problem though), who knows who would be after you if anyone knew he's dating someone, he's smart enough to cover his tracks, which sadly means he's always gone in the morning when you wake up

Leaves heartfelt notes around your house to let you know how he feels, a lot of the time he says sorry for having to leave before you wake up

Sleeps on his back but always leaves an arm out for you to cuddle into, always stays in the same position during your sleep while you rotate like a rotisserie chicken, you wonder how he does it

Enjoys it a lot when you gently cup his face and trace his jawline, doesn't enjoy it a lot when you bother him about his moustache or him having to shave again but he loves small moments like this, during those it almost feels like he has a normal life

Stumbles over his own words a lot, he practiced beforehand but who knows where all this practice went (too nervous to really make sense but you get the point this goofball is trying to bring across)

The fireworks around you would already start going off and he still wouldn't be done

"Home" would be a little stretch to call the sanctuary that she built, after all there's lots of radiants there who don't quite know what to do with their powers and who are scared of prosecution
