Yoru

Yoru’s usually the first one up, like 95% of the time, but getting up? that’s a whole different story. He’s not a morning person, so he tends to stay in bed for quite a while. He just loves how quiet the early morning is, just sitting there watching the sunlight illuminate the room. It’s one of the moments where he lets himself soften up a bit, just looking at you peacefully sleeping.

When it comes to waking you up, he’s not exactly the gentlest, but he’s got his own sweet way of doing it. He might brush your hair out of your face or lean in close to directly say something like, “Oi, wake up already.” in your ear.

If you’re being extra stubborn , he’ll start teasing you, tickling you or covering you collarbone and neck with kisses and hickeys until you finally groan and get up, which just makes him smirk.

On lazy mornings, he might stay in bed with you longer than usual, leaning on one elbow while he traces random patterns on your skin with his fingers or just holding you close to him.

And he espacially loves those quiet moments for a bit of light teasing with you. If you suggest staying in bed even longer, he’s secretly all for it, though he’ll pretend it’s just to humor you.

On busier days he'll make sure you're both up and ready to go on time. While Yoru’s not a morning person, so he can be a little grumpy, but he still takes charge in this situation. If you’re dragging your feet, don’t be surprised if he wraps his arms around you from behind and growls something like, “Come on, let’s go, slowpoke.”

Yoru doesn’t usually do the whole “affectionate” thing, but mornings are a bit different. He loves noticing the little details about you, like how messy your hair gets or the way you bury your face in the pillow. Every now and then, he’ll pull you into a kiss that starts out slow and lazy but quickly gets heated, it’s his way of soaking in your presence before the day kicks off.

Gekko

You’re usually the first one up since Gekko tends to sleep like a rock. He’s often sprawled out across the bed, one arm thrown over you making it harder for you to get up.

If you’re the one waking him up, it’s probably by tracing circles on his chest or sneaking soft kisses on his cheek. When he finally stirs, his first move is to pull you closer, mumbling in that half-asleep, raspy voice, “Five more minutes…”

If he’s the one waking you up (on the rare occasions), it’s really soft and playful. He’ll kiss your forehead and grin as he whispers, “Good morning, beautiful.”

On more lazy mornings, Gekko loves staying in bed with you as long as you’ll let him. His little buddies usually hop onto the bed to join in the cuddles, making it even cozier.

Breakfast tends to be slightly chaotic with everyone involved, but despite that he can never get enough of your laugh as you both try (and maybe fail) to cook together.

Even on busy days, Gekko’s mornings are a bit slow but always shows his care for you. If you aren't going out together he’ll make sure you’re all set before he heads out, giving you a long kiss and throwing in a “Don’t miss me too much.”

Physical touch is totally Gekko’s thing, so he’s always finding a way to be close, wrapping an arm around you or resting his chin on your shoulder.

On those slower mornings, he loves whispering sweet things into your ear or shares whatever random dream he had. Sometimes those moments turn into soft, passionate kisses that make it really hard to actually get out of bed.

Chamber

Chamber’s always up early. By the time you wake up, he’s either already perfectly dressed or sipping his espresso looking like straight out of a café ad. He always loves watching you wake up, you're groggy appearance making a soft smile appear on his lips.

If you’re still asleep but need to get up, he leans in to press a kiss to your temple or gently nudge your shoulder while murmuring, “Mon amour, it’s time to wake up.” On the rare occasion you’re the one waking him, you’ll catch him looking entirely relaxed, his hair a little messy, his whole vibe softer than usual.

On lazy mornings, Chamber doesn’t mind indulging. He’ll stay in bed with you, running his hands over your body or lightly tracing your lips with his thumb. And of course, breakfast is brought to you, he insists on spoiling you, no arguments allowed.

On busy mornings, he’s all about efficiency. He’s never really in a rush, but everything he does feels intentional. He’ll help you get ready, whether it’s tying your tie or brushing lint off your shirt. Before heading out, he’ll kiss your hand, a quiet little promise that he’ll be back for you.

Chamber has this way of taking care of you that feels so effortless. Whether it’s handing you your morning coffee or pulling you in for a tender kiss, it’s just second nature to him. On slower mornings, he’s completely unhurried, his touch lingers, his kisses teasing and light or deep enough to leave you completely breathless.

Phoenix

Phoenix is usually the first one up, full of energy and ready to go. But if he’s had a late night, he’ll totally sleep in and cling to you like you’re his favorite teddy bear.

If he wakes up before you, he’ll playfully shake you awake, announcing something like, “Babe, the world needs us” On the flip side, if you’re the one waking him, he’ll groggily pull you back into bed with a cheeky grin, muttering, “Just a few minutes longer.”

Lazy mornings with Phoenix are always fun. He might suggest breakfast in bed or turn on some music and tries to get you to dance with him. You’ll probably end up in his arms, laughing as he spins you around the kitchen.

Reyna

On busy mornings, she’s more composed, moving at her own pace. But when her eyes land on you, there’s always a softness there. Before heading out, she’ll pull you in for a kiss, deep and searing, her hand gently cradling your face.

Explanations for Photos with Headcanons

Top Left: Navy Boxing

Phoenix would have definitely done all kinds of sports when she was younger, which would then extend to her experience in the Naval Academy. With USNA having a strong sports scene she would have taken advantage of that immediately and done as many sports as she could handle on top of her academic work. Boxing was a good fit for her, allowing her to get her anger out whilst also developing stronger arm muscles.

Top Middle: Truck

Being from a very male dominated family, having six brothers, and growing up in Texas, she was raised around male oriented hobbies, such as cars and mechanics. Her father, sensing her daughters interest, bought her a run down truck for her 16th birthday. She still works on it to this day. No one knows how its still running.

Top Right: Style

Being raised in Texas, the culture surrounding her had a distinct impact on her style. Whilst she doesn't run around in cowboy boots (but she does own a pair), there is a clear abundance of flannel and denim in her wardrobe. She chooses a more tomboyish style most of the time, with her brothers being a clear influence on that front, along with her male friends during her childhood, but she is know to clean up extremely nicely when the evening calls for it.

Middle Left: Pilot

Phoenix came from a long line of military personnel, a military brat through and through. Her family was spread all over, with her father being a retired marine and her brothers being spread across the all branches. Her choice to become a pilot, specifically a naval aviator was rooted in her willingness to challenge herself. She knew how hard it was to get into the naval academy (her brother hadn't gotten accepted) and she knew how hard it was to become a fighter pilot (another brother didn't get through NIFE). She knew what she was capable of, so she pursued it.

Middle Right: Texas

Whilst you can't hear it in her voice, she is a Texan girl through and through. With a very strong sense of pride, and a extremely confident yet humble attitude inherited from her culture, she is someone who can stand on her own. She will always keep up her southern hospitality to those who deserve it, whether it be a door held open, a quick bit of easy small talk, or a shoulder to cry on.

Bottom Left: Ranch

Phoenix was raised in the open air of a beautiful ranch in Texas. Being passed down from her great grandfather to her father, the large ranch proved useful as one boy, ended up being two boys, then three to six, ending with her, the seventh, and youngest, child. She adored that ranch, and still does. She loves the open air, the acres of land where cows and horses roam, the forest of trees where she used to hide and climb as a child. She has many fond memories in that ranch and can't wait to get back after deployments.

Bottom Middle: Basketball

Another sport that Natasha would embrace is basketball. Despite her short stature, her strong jump and her rough and tough attitude made up for it easily. She was captain of her high schools basketball team, and vice-captain in USNA. Its a sport that brought her comradery during her schooling years, and a sport that she still adores to this day.

Bottom Right: Golden Retriever

Cows and horses were not the only animals that were roaming the acres of land at her childhood home, along with them is a golden retriever called Coconut. As a child she always adored dogs, having another golden previous to Coconut called Ace, the sweetest dog you would ever meet. The death of Ace hit her hard, especially since she was in her senior year of high school, but the memory of him still lives on. Her father had gotten Coconut many years later, and whilst still sweet, she is very much known to tackle anyone with love.

Saying you liked revealing clothes was an understatement. you liked feeling sexy in your clothes, and it was okay. it wasn't like you were walking in underwear. you liked crop tops, décolletés, short skirts, tight clothes, and all that shit. some liked it, some didn't. and it didn't matter. if they couldn't handle you, it wasn't your problem.

At first, when you were younger, you tried to change your style. wearing more modest clothes, baggier clothes to please men who didn't like your style. but it wasn't working so you stopped dating men who weren't comfortable with you dressing sexily and like you wanted.

And you stopped dating men. men were fine, but none of them catched your attention anymore. or you would date for a month and that's all. typical scenario:

1- you flirt with a guy; he's super nice, he really likes the whole i dress sexy thing.

2- you start dating; still dressing like yourself.

3- he asks you to change clothes one time because he doesn't want his male friend to see you like that. you change this one.

4- he asks you to change. again. you say no. he gets angry.

5- you break up with him.

Then you meet Natasha. when she hits on you in San Diego, you can't believe it. yeah you're used to men hitting on you: but a girl hitting on you that openly is new to you. so when she slides against the bar next to you, your legs are SHAKING. and then you don't know how to flirt anymore. 

"D'you mind if I sit here?" the brunette looks at you with a sweet smile. or maybe it's a "i want you in my bed"-smile. you don't know and you're not able to look at her for more than 3 seconds but you still manage to answer her. "no, of course not! have a seat please." she spares no time and sits next to you. closer than she should. but the brunette's not invading your personal space, she clearly knows what she's doing. 

"My name is Natasha. Can I buy you another drink?" after a quick look at your glass, you smile at her and nod. she turns to the bartender and asks him to get you the same drink. "I'm (Y/N). Thanks for the drink, Natasha." Her name rolls out of your tongue and you wink at her. Maybe it's the alcohol, maybe it's the way she looks so nice, so beautiful. Her eyes dart to the birth of your thighs, your short skirt riding up but Natasha's eyes move back to your face. You both open your mouth at the same time to talk, but a male voice startles you. 

"That's quite a short skirt, baby. Makes you look like a slut, I like it. " Then : 2 reactions. You, on the first hand, sigh and pull nervously on your skirt to make it appear longer. Natasha, on the other hand, stands up abruptly. And in the background, you can see 2 dudes standing up, more slowly, looking at Natasha. You assume they're her friends. They don't move. They just stand up while drinking some of their beers. Your eyes quickly move back to Natasha, and she's standing really close to the guy. "Do you think that's something appropriate to say to a woman, dickhead?" Her right hand finds a place on your shoulder, and the dude gives her a funny look. "You defending your little girlfriend is really cute, but do you think you're really scaring me ?" You honestly expect her to call the security, or to call her two really tall friends for backup. But Natasha just turns her head to look at you. 

"Sweets, take a step back for me please." if it weren't for the really tense situation, you'd become as red as a tomato and fall on your knees. But you do as you're told, and form the corner of your eyes, you see her friends taking a step forward. And then, the hot brunette swings. Her fist definitely breaking his nose. He stumbles back and she doesn't give him the time to punch back before she whistles for security, while backing up to stand in front of you: and really close in front of you. You're pretty sure she can feel your chest against her back.

When you asked her how you could repay her, she just asked for your number and a date. This is when and where your love story with Natasha begins. 6 years ago. In a bar in San Diego. And damm, unlike men, she didn't get tired of your mini dresses, or of your crop tops. and let me tell you, she LIKED your low-rise jeans.

At first, dating her was hard. She graduated from Top Gun one year ago, and now she was getting stationed around the world. But every day when she had her phone, she would ask you to send her your outfits of the day. Even if you stayed all day in pajamas, she wanted to see it and would text you: "i want to see you do a little twist to show me your outfit !!" and she would hype you up everytime. "your ass looks so good in those low rise jeans, baby, i love those, wear them during our next date okay" and you would.

she didn't break up with you after a month, which was something. and you couldn't help but feel self conscious, even after being with her for 3 years, just because someone commented on your outfit at the grocery store. she hadn't asked you to dress more modestly and you were a little worried. maybe she wanted to date someone who was “meet the parents worthy.” so you asked her about it.

"Are you sure you don't mind me wearing this top? it barely covers more than a bra." your girlfriend opened her mouth to answer but you didn’t let her. “Nat, I can understand. It’s fun to date me and my outfits but wouldn’t it be better if I dressed more modestly? Like higher jeans ? Longer tops? You know? More parents meeting worthy.” the brunette suddenly stood up and kissed you. Sure, y’all had sex, y’all kissed but this was another type of kiss. It was full of passion and…anger. “Oh my god, can you let me talk? I don’t care about your jeans, I don’t care about your tops. I like them. You’re my hot girlfriend that I love and it’s all that matters. I don’t know what has gotten into you but you are parents meeting worthy. you are worthy of everything.”

Maybe you were about to cry, maybe you felt like you fell in love with her again, but you were trying so hard to hold those tears. But when she pulled away and furiously browsed into her wardrobe before taking a pink velvet box out of it you were definitely crying. “Sweets, you deserve the world and I want to marry you. Please, be my hot sexy wife instead of my hot sexy girlfriend?” She didn’t get on one knee, she didn’t propose to you on the beach, but she proposed to you when it felt right. and you said yes.

When “Phoenix” got called back at Top Gun, you’ve been married for 3 years. For the past years, you’ve been moving with her around the world: and you thanked your 15 years old self for choosing to be an architect. Wherever she got stationed, there was work for you. So naturally, you moved with her toTop Gun. The “house” you got was small, smaller than usual military houses, but this was Top Gun: a school, not some usual stationnement. Natasha tenses up and you press yourself onto her a little more. “Phoenix.” “Bagman.” “Who’s that?” Suddenly, a smile appears on her face and she grabs your left hand to show it to everybody. “My wife.” Cheers erupt from everyone, and you can’t help but hide your face in your wife’s neck , the biggest smile ever on both of your faces.

Yoru

Everyone know's Yoru has somewhat of a big ego, so it was shocking when you two got together.

From your prospective, you found him interesting. How someone could be just so confident in themselves to where they let the whole world know about it?

Somehow though, it brought you comfort knowing there was someone you could stick by and trust.

Yoru on the other hand, was slightly confused when you began hanging around him for no specific reason. Anytime you could you'd be by his side, silent as always.

He found you intriguing, because even though you were always so quiet and shy, he coal always tell what you were thinking by just looking at your face.

Yoru grew to enjoy your presence, and that's how it all started, not to mention knowing you feel safe around him kicks he ego up a notch every time.

Phoenix

Phoenix found you cute the minute he set eyes on you for the first time, he could tell you were shy, and that made you the lot more interesting to him.

He decided the easiest way to get you to warm up to him was to "flirt", or in this case, tease you for being so shy.

And somehow it worked

Eventually you relaxed more around the duelist, feeling more comfortable around him than anyone else.

So when he officially asked you out, it was easy for you to say yes, especially when he began rambling about just how cute you looked when you were being shy, almost speaking with your facial expressions instead.

Chamber

Chamber found you, oddly nice to be around. You were quiet, didn't really speak unless you needed to, and still had a nice presence.

The weapon maker would never admit to his love for company, so when you started working beside him any chance you got, he let you.

He saw you as a friend, at least until he realized there was something more there too.

He knew you felt the same way, he watched you more than you realized, stealing glances when he could, and noticing the little blushes when you two made eye contact.

Everything just seemed to fall into place with you two.

Seeing them bicker back and forth wouldn’t have caused you to foresee what it would flourish into. For the first time, they asked for…a third-party opinion!

You were putting your equipment in your locker when the duo first approached you. The rush of anxiety you felt when saw their shadows engulf you.

“Yoo, (a/n)!” You knew that voice. It was Phoenix!

You turned around to see the fiery man with a playfully look on his face and an annoyed Yoru with his arms crossed standing next to him.

“Oh, hey.” You tried your best to keep a cool expression as they talked and not smile like an idiot!

“Yoru and I were having a friendly competition here, yeah? I bet him that he couldn’t get more headshots than me. The problem is that I lost track because I got so many, but I know it was more than him.” Phoenix chuckled, knowing exactly how to word his statements to get under Yoru’s skin.

It worked and Yoru narrowed his eyes at his counterpart. “You idiot. You lose count but say you win without knowing the facts. I know for sure I got more than you.” Yoru then took out his butterfly comb to adjust his hair.

“U-Um.” You sweatdropped. You knew how this would end. You would need to choose between them.

“Tell us who won!” They yelled in unison. Your heart was about to burst from anxiety when Skye had come between them. She seemed annoyed.

“Can’t you two dills tell you’re making her nervous? Go on, piss off!” She shoo’d the two of them away and the boys quickly left. Probably to the shooting range.

“What? ‘Making her nervous’?” You heard Phoenix repeat as he left. “I just asked a question!”

“Thanks.” You exhaled, finally putting yourself at ease. How would you be able to survive working if you were so easily flustered by some guys?

Little did you know, the two men in question didn’t always use to be like this. Their primal instincts have taken over and most of the things they fight about come from trying to impress you.

More and more than bothered you with their petty games until Phoenix got the idea to get Jett in on it. They thought that if you admitted who you liked more, that would be the end of it.

“There is no way she would agree to something so stupid.” Yoru scolded them and Jett only laughed.

Phoenix then said, “Buuuut what if someone else asks her!?”

The idea seemed good on paper but now it just needed to be executed. Jett asked you to come out with her to the cafeteria for some girl time and you accepted. Maybe it would help you open up more!

“So, what did you want to do?” You asked her as you examined some of the fresh fruit that had been set out for the agents.

“I just wanted to talk more. I still know barely anything about you!” She said, taking a seat on a bar stool. “I wanted to try getting to know you better because you seem super cool.”

You smiled kindly. “Aw, thanks.” You replied. “What did you wanna know?”

You talked a while with Jett. Since things were one on one, you could open up with no problem! Little did you know, a nosey Yoru and Phoenix were nearby, eavesdropping!

The remainder of the day was relatively normal until the next day.

You had woken up on your own and not by Brimstone yelling at you, so you knew it was another off-day. You went to the cafeteria to get breakfast where you had been greeted by everyone else…except for Phoenix and Yoru.

You were hoping you’d see them today but it’s fine. You knew you’d see them again at some point.

You let the other agents get their breakfast first before getting your own and in the middle of fixing your breakfast, the two men entered. You hadn’t noticed at first but then you felt a presence behind you.

A big hand grabbed your ass. You almost yelped before turning around to see who you were met with. It was Yoru!

You blushed madly at the realization. “Y-Yoru…”

His facial expression didn’t change at all. He barely even reacted to you as well. “My bad.”

“I-It’s fine.”

Seconds later, you felt another presence approach you.

“Aye! Good morning, (y/n). Good to see you!” You knew that English accent anywhere.

Phoenix gave you a close hug. You weren’t able to move your arms at all but you could feel his hands wander down your back all the way down to your bottom.

You didn’t know what to say or do but it wasn’t something that was unwelcoming. You liked the contact and it was from your favorite person…people.

Things only got more intense when you had gotten alone with them. It was almost like they were having a contest of who could make you the most flushed with romantic gestures.
