So I have this acquaintance who is a Tibetan Buddhist and the last time I went to her hometown she took us to this temple that was apparently the temple of her family deity. I was surprised to find out that tibetan buddhists also have the concept of kula devta.

Anyway what surprised me more was this painting placed right at the entrance of the temple that depicts Shiva and Shakti in union. Right at the entrance!!

Something like this would never be allowed in a hindu temple

That's not Shiva-Shakti.

That's a thangka of Hevajra (tantric equivalent of Buddha) and his consort Nairatmya in union (yab yum).

Standing on top of the Four Maras, these forces of delusion, death, and obstacles to enlightenment are personified as four major Hindu gods:

Brahma (yellow)

Vishnu (black/blue)

Shiva / Mahesvara (white)

Indra (yellow)

Buddhism, especially Vajrayana, had elements degrading Hindu Gods and vice versa.

In ancient India, religious groups often drew comics, wrote stories, or made art showing their preferred deity as supreme.

The four-armed figure holds four symbolic items representing the basic needs and pillars of a self-sufficient nation:

A manuscript (knowledge)

A sheaf of grain (food)

A white cloth (clothing/Swadeshi/self-reliance)

A mala (faith/spirituality).

If you think reservation is not important, please look at these cases. In order to remove the reservation, you must remove the casteism which is so deep rooted in our society.

And if the caste of the victim is being mentioned in all those crimes, then the caste of the perpetrator should be mentioned too.

Acc to UP police, maximum SC/ST act filed are against Yadavs (OBC) who also get reservations and moslems, in UP.

As a matter of fact, this survey should be done all over India.
