The Mahabharat is first and foremost,a religious text,not just another piece of literature. I'm not talking about the fanfics or making heacannons or anything like that,you can of course have fun with the characters,i myself like analyzing them as humans,and you can obviously critique it for some of the misogyny it contains,again, it's an itihasa,which is highly interpolated.
But none of that erased the cultural and religious significance of the text which contains the Bhagvad Gita. I don't like any scripture being insulted,regardless of the religion it belongs to. Calling it the misogyny text? Or claiming that just because slaves existed means Krishna also owned slaves?(Krishna,who IS a religious figure,even if you do see him as a human) You're forgetting all religious importance and explanations by saying such things.
And on top of that,you can't just call your interpretations of it "reading comprehension" while calling anyone who calls you out a hindutva. And i hope you do realize how harmful it is to compare someone defending their religious beliefs to an extremist, you're basically blurring the lines(and maybe even pushing the person into a line of extremism if they start to think that hindutva is just about defending their religion)
