A different silhouette than I remember. The sun was out and shining, there was a light crisp breeze in the air and there you were floating ever so delicately. I hadn’t noticed you around to visit in a while, until you were there upon me and I watched you disappear again. Just enough for me to notice but not enough to bring me to tears. 3,527 days and still counting. Only one day before my 25th and I won’t get to hear you sing me “Happy Birthday” tomorrow, another year of a broken heart that can only hope and dream to see you again. Looking out for you in every moment and every day in my life, but for now I’ll hold onto those memories from when you did until we cross paths again.
