You don’t have to act like everything is alright

It's difficult to unlove the one you have loved the most. Let's be practical, does the love end after one person's denial? No. Because if it did then it's not true love. Love is like a mother's love for her child. It doesn't end even when the child brings in new people in its life nor when the child decides to abandon and leave the mother behind. It's pure and unconditional. 

May be we can't be with the one we love, may be after rejection, we barely can face them but somewhere we know that the love we have for them is never gonna die. Surely we do move on and we'll get love again in a new person but the love we had for them if was true will not vanish even after everything ends.

It will just evolve and reform. Now the love that wanted to be the reason of their happiness will change into a wish of their happiness.

You'll wish them to be happy where ever and with whomever they are. You will no more wish to be the centre of their happiness but their smile will still matter. 

May be someday when you are old, happy and enjoying your life with your love and children, you get a text from the mutuals that he/she is no more. It will hurt you and you will not know why.
