Big fan of modern adaptations of ancient Greek stories as they’re pretty much all very very faithful to the gods and how they behaved and were characterised. It was a very real culture which people genuinely believed in for like one thousand years I’ve always found it a bit distasteful to completely bastardise the character of the gods and heroes.

I love this because it’s always so baffling in stories where the main character is going through some real shit and never once cries, everyone in the odyssey really be letting out their feelings and we love that for them, shed those tears king.
