Outline sketch of one of our next scenes for our upcoming anime series, the alleyway where our main character has a run in with one of the gang members within the city.

When it comes to being a runt, why is it the weak tend to follow the strong? What's the best way to get your bosses attention and show them you're more than capable of being taken seriously? When you're looking to make a name for yourself and prove that you're ready to be placed in a higher ranking. The best way is to show your willingness to get the job done by doing it with no questions asked.

When you get into your dream school you often think about how your journey is going to go. Oftentimes your professors are supposed to be the ones serving up the knowledge many young students tend to seek, but what if one of those trusted professors happens to have his own agenda when it comes to helping the students on campus and thinks you would fit right into his plans?

First look at one of our main characters childhood friends who moved back to the city and are attending the same college as DJ.

We are now setting our background designs in place for our upcoming indie anime series TK thanks to our background artist Ryan Kuzumaki who has been a great asset in creating these backgrounds for our characters.

Isabella Martinez (Izzy)

Age 20

An ex kickboxer who was banned from ever competing again after an incident left a girl with severe brain damage. After getting banned from ever competing in the sport she loved and no coaches wanting to train her because of the incident, she made a name for herself by taking on all comers male or female in the underground fighting scene. She later joined up with a man named Domo who is trying to find a way to leave it all behind Southgate.

personality:

Very arrogant and fully aware of how good he is. He likes to show up people on and off the court by taunting them about how the school want to recruit him right after his sophomore year in highschool. He takes pride in showing people just how great he is and likes the prise he gets when he's around other people. If the spotlight isn't shinning on him then there must be a problem and he will often challenge that problem with a friendly game of basketball to show people who happens to be running things around campus.

Devon Brown

bio:

Grew up outside of the city where his reputation as a well known baller got him recruited by all the major colleges. He lived with his father, mother left because she said his dad was a dead beat who only thought about basketball which eventually got Devon involved in the sport. He would have him running drills every single day from 6am till he went to school then after he got home from did his homework then back to practicing till night. He made sure Devon would be able to play the greatest basketball he could ever play on and off the court. He would force his son to play against grown men at the age of 12 who would out weigh him by 50-80lbs on the court who would just bully him on the court as if he was less then. What made matters worse is if he was to quit or give up his father would beat the hell out of him because he's making him as his main support/ coach look bad in front of everyone. If his team is loosing his father would blame him for them not picking up the win because he didn't take over in the game. He would say to Devon your not playing for the school coach or team out there your playing for me so we can get to a better life and if you mess this up for us I promise you I will mess you up as well. All the hours of drilling over and over and over again, paid off for Devon because he became the number one prospect for colleges world wide having all of them drooling at the chance to bringing him to their school. His dad told him don't worry about the education, look at the school that has the highest chance to getting us into the NBA, that's the main goal, which is why his choice was to currently go to this college for two reasons. He doesn't have to worry about his dad breathing down his neck all the time and the other is it happens to have one of the highest chances for him getting into the NBA.

Best friends with DJ and Xavier

Bio:

Tyson- the second oldest from his older brother who never comes around his family because of how they were raise growing up. He has two younger sisters and a younger brother he takes care of because of his mother's illness. He grew up wearing hammy downs from his older brother because his mother wasn't able to afford new clothes but she tried her best to take care of him and his siblings all by herself. His father refused to work and was a very abusive man growing up. When he would watch them he would make sure that he ate before feeding his own kids and if they even said they were hungry, his father would toss them outside and lock them out in the cold, he would whip them for no reason or even lock them in their basement for hours on in until his mother would return home. She would find them scared or hiding from their father because of how abusive of a man he was. She wouldn't try to talk to him either because the last time she did he tossed her down a flight of stairs which put her in the hospital for several weeks. As Tyson grew up he realized he had a knack for playing football and also knew he wanted to go to college but his mom couldn't afford. He was able to achieve a full ride scholarship into one of the top colleges in the world (Zenith University) which he knew he wouldn't of been able to get into with just his grades alone. His current goal is to now make it to the NFL and to take care of his entire family.

Personality

Very relaxed and laidback person even when his on the football field he always has a smile on his face. You would think he never gets mad by the way he carries himself and how he doesn't take people to serious. Its when he gets mad, thats when you need to worry but Luckly its a rare site to see. His mindset is very strong when it comes to protecting the people he cares about. Sports is just one of his focuses besides being able to finish college and hanging with his friends.

Xavier Collins

One of DJs best friends who also grew up in the bad part of town but was referred to by many as a very skilled and smart guy who everyone knew as Mr. Popular because how he carried himself around school. Every knew if anyone had a chance of every getting out of Southgate, it would be him. After his father received a new job offer to go work in midpoint at a great company him and his family moved to the nice part of town and even went to a private school leaving behind both his best friends who he lost contact with after moving.

Personality:

He tends to view the whole world as a mean of learning, rather that's being in school or talking with people to get first hand information about them, their situation or life experiences. He is very adaptable when it comes to figuring out hard situations and understanding people's problems. He also enjoys reading in his spare time and practicing his swordsmanship when he has a chance to.

Bios

Dj-Grew up with his older brother and parents in the ruff part of the city. Gun fire robbing stealing and fighting was the norm for people who lived in that part of town. Luckily he had an older brother who was able to shield him from that type of stuff and made sure he stayed on the right path in school which lead him to getting in the best college he now attends on the better part of town.

Personality

a very understanding person who doesnt seem like a person who wouldnt go against his own morals. He is a book worm very intelligent and helpful when someone is in need.

He's also very naive with his way of thinking of how the world works and how the world truely is.

His dream is to use his education to move out of his old neighborhood and into midpoint after graduating Zenith University.
