The work that I’ve come to do here has led me all over Manchester. It’s a glorious mix of the ancient and the up-to-the-minute. You can never know what’s around the next corner. There are other contrasts: it’s busy but the people are open; it seems random but well-organized. There’s a gracious spirit among the people. And as I’ve walked (miles and miles) if these streets the past two days, I’ve felt the presence of God, loving these citizens, who speak dozens of languages, and reaching out to them. I’ve grown to love them, too, and their beautiful city. #Jesus #I❤️MCR
