And maybe you think differently but what I said before is that if someone consents to have sex they are responsible for what happens if they get pregnant. And if the mother doesn’t want the baby and can’t find a could home for it the government SHOULD find it a good home. But if that doesn’t happen there a bunch of Christian charities who help with this exact sort of thing. I hear it, I get it. The upset over the life of a human being, taken without real cause because the natural way of life didnt suit people is real. But what is the alternative? What makes it ok to force someone to have a child? Why should it be allowed for someone to force their ideals on someone else? There is science backing up abortion, there are plenty of studies and papers that state it is a safe practice that causes minimal pain to the fetus and humanely kills it. If the government takes away the right for abortion we have some problems. 1. If someone wants an abortion they will have one. Whether its done correctly or not. This will endanger the lives of the women and the fetus may not be properly removed 2. Its forcing people to have babies. Its. Forcing. People. To. Have. Babies. That is dystopian YA novel stuff right there 3. It invalidates the laws of consent and is basically a middle finger to the citizens that tells them “the government owns your body” 4. Its forcing women to be in a position where they are unable to have sex (unlike some men) because of fear of pregancy, in a society that has sexual advert everywhere and uses sex as a recreation activity 5. Child services paid by the government are already under funded and this would put more burden on them, with a government that puts more money into the military than its youngest generations Again, you can think and believe whatever you want, all the more power to you because its hard to stand by your ethics and moral code.
