Oh look, my nails as of tonight. I look back at older photos and see my long nails and am like “wat happen?! where go?!” I need to work on improving my nail condition again. Gotta take mah vitamins and eat guud.

Anyway. About these nails....

It’s a tape tree accent nail! In that I used tape to make the tree shape, and straight vinyl strips to do the tinsel lines.

I put two strips of scotch tape on the back of my hand to make them less sticky, but still sticky enough to adhere to my nails. Made the triangle shape, then threw down gold glitter polish, I let it dry (mostly) then added the straight vinyls across the gold on top of the tape and painted the green over the gold.

I peeled off the vinyls which tore up my gold glitter a bit at the bottom, then the tape which also flubbed the shape a bit, but after tapping the polish with my finger to flatten/smooth it then using a small art brush to fill in the gold glitter area that I messed up, it looked pretty good. So I slapped a gem on the top of the tree and slathered on a quick-dry top coat.
